obviously not an exhaustive list:

hummus & fresh veggies, painting, the beach, reading a really great book, snuggling, drinking tea, thought-provoking conversation, driving with my windows down & singing at the top of my lungs, trying new things, seeing old friends, and not wearing clothes when there's nobody else around.

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed right now for a stress reducer tool...

My wife giving me 'those' eyes, my son talking about pokemon, my daughter yelling 'DADDY!" at the top of her lungs when I get home, playing trumpet, swimming, taking the old man club on a drive halfway across the state on a complete whim, really fun and bubbly retail workers, nice weather, a Sunday off from work so I can go to church, vacations, K-Strass, Lady Gaga, Pink Floyd, mothers pushing babies in strollers, fathers pushing babies in strollers, Up, UHF, pretty much anything Weird Al does or sings, cap erasers, the new orange flavored Trident gum, my dentist (yeah, really), old women who love to chat, young women who love to chat, middle aged women who love to chat, burly men driving mini-vans, Guinness, a day off, helping a friend in need, handshakes, hugs, smiles, solving a complex problem, helping people work better with people, re-uniting with an old friend, making a new friend, animals humping at the zoo, explaining to my kids what the animals are doing, a new gadget, a thank you note, hockey games, my rusty old Buick parked between a Bentley and a Rolls Royce, pizza, FRINGE, a deep tissue massage from a woman who could bench press me, that nuclear butter they put on your popcorn at the movie theater, dancers, quirky musicians, my mom, telling stories, knocking the power out to Wall Drug, singing at the top of my lungs in the same octave as any female singer while I'm driving, blaming my daughter for any fart that's let loose in the house, a new swimsuit, flannel pajamas, long underwear, thick socks, extra cheese, stars, agates, a moonlit road, the ocean, mountain streams, glaciers, the world's longest run-on sentence, and all of you here at PerC.

Making deep connections with people.
Enjoying not so deep but fun connections wtih people...ideally these are the same people I can also have deep connections with, because I don't like shallow relationships just by themselves too often.

Playing games that require extreme critical thinking, i.e. poker and chess. Correcting peoples grammar, pwning right wing nuts in debates, staying up late not doing homework to read a book that has no relevance to your studies, often some random astronomy textbook or something, that's all I can think of atm, as someone else noted, not an exhaustive list by any means.

being a parent must be amazing.

as for me- hugs, helping out others without expecting any kind of gratitude or recognition. i went through a little period where i forgot how good that feels, i guess it's not so normal in my town, but recently i saw an older lady drop her cup set which broke on the crowded pavement. clearly she was embarrassed so i rushed over to help her and tried to convey that it was not a big deal through body language- that felt great. and yesterday a foreign woman asked where the taxi rank was, i wasn't in a hurry so i called her a taxi for her on my phone- a small thing but still reminded me of a part of me which i'd almost forgotten about.

on the same day though i was approached by two people claiming to not have enough money for the coach fair home and could i please lend them some money. they seemed genuine enough, if a little strange. i almost felt like doing it, but resisted knowing it to be a stupid idea- sure enough 5mins later an announcer warns not to give money to men who beg for a fair as criminals work in the area. felt proud of myself for that since it was my days as a young naive teen which made me cautious in being selfless in the first place- but apparently i've matured and i now know when to pick my moments better.

Lots of things!

Those days where the sun is out but the wind is cool and I can sit out and have breakfast or lunch on the balcony
Dogs. Especially puppies. But all dogs
Rain on the roof
Hugs
Saying the same thing at the same time as someone else
Music
Singing
Talks late at night in the car
Frost on the grass in the morning
Birds chirping
Butterflies and moths in my garden
Earthworms
Those knee length dresses that float up perfectly when the wind blows, but not in a revealing way... xD
Long days with friends where we just do whatever, wherever and enjoy each others company even if we're just sitting in her car in a multi story carpark.
Swimming laps at the pool
Movies that make me cry lovely fresh tears down my face
Getting a shy person to open up and have a laugh
That feeling of complete synchronicity when you're playing with a full orchestra. Especially when the strings swell.
Jumping up perfectly on a surfboard and riding a wave all the way into shore
Those awkward moments when I make animal noises to signal to a friend, only to realize that the person is not my friend and now thinks that I'm totally mental.
Mums and dads with little kids
Little kids mispronouncing words
Hummus on fresh bread
Spinach and cheese pie or roll or ANYTHING, IT'S ALL DELICIOUS
Roasted macadamia nuts
Chocolate coated licorice and ginger. Mmm.
When my dog wants to play when I'm feeling really depressed and I end up having fun chasing her around the house
Turning around a distracted or grumpy customer at work and getting them to walk of smiling
Helping people pay for their meal if they're short by a bit of change.
Sitting at the back of movie theatres and giggling my face off into a friends shoulder
Tight asses who correct people on stupid things getting owned
Shoes that make my legs look thin
Shoes that make my legs look hot
Not feeling vain when I say something like the above sentences.
Being complemented on my dress sense
Being accepted by lots of different kinds of people
Postsecret.com
Makesmethink.com
That feeling you get when you're riding your bicycle really fast down a hill with the wind in your hair
The way the world gets so much prettier when I put my glasses on xD
Physical contact
Mock arguing with friends
Friends who know that they may not understand but are still there for you
Conversations with people who have conflicting views to mine. So interesting.
Eavesdropping on random people's conversations
Having people say how much they like being around me because I'm always so bubbly and happy, even though I know that I'm not. It's good to know that I make them happy!

I'm sure I'll think of more later...

being a parent must be amazing.
Being a parent is amazing, and it makes me happy.

My wife gave birth to both of our children by C-Section under sedation and was unable to handle the children until recovery. As a result, I got to spend the first hour of both my children's lives rocking them and talking to them and dreaming out loud of what they would become and what we would do together.

These were amazingly special moments in my life, just thinking about it brings tears of joy for me and tears of sadness for my wife who missed out on those experiences.
