Honestly, my very first thought would be a "Hell no." She's nothing but a random stranger who might try to take advantage of you.

...However, like you, I would think about it more and probably call her that same night or something. While I would be 95% wary, there is a possibility, that she could be a really awesome person worth befriending and getting to know. We all have to take risks at some point.

And as for the randomness, it's not random at all. She obviously found you attractive, gathered up some courage, and tried not to let you slip by.

It's not being scared. It's taking a defensive role rather an aggressive/passive one when it comes to the situation. I'm not going to open myself so easily so that I can be taken advantage of, used. It's happened to me before in the past and it left me feeling angered and depressed for about two years.
