So what types do you get along with and which ones don't you get alone with , and even ones your indifferent of. According to your own personal life experience ?

I'll start. And again , just my life experience so far. ( Might include assumptions but I'm just going off my experience )

( * Get along with ) ( *? Maybe / unsure ) ( - Personality clash ) ( ~ indifferent )

INFP *: That would be my type. I have been another INFP who seemed more quieter than me but we warmed up quick.
Dare I say that everyone's favorite type is going to be their own ? lol :p Whenever I read about the INFP , most of the time it's like looking in the mirror. DARN , this MBTI stuff is accurate.

ENFP * : Meet a couple of ENFPs and they are like INFPs and the energy of an ENTP. As an introvert myself sometimes socializing would wear me out but it's a good warn out like a fun vacation. I think my partner is ENFP so I need to get used to learning more about them. I used to think I was ENFP and my INFP friend thought I was an ENFP. lol Nah , I'm an INFP.

ENTP * : I think I had a science teacher who was an ENTP. He was absolutely hilarious. Many of my favorite comedy people are ENTPs. Plus I think I know of a friend who might be ENTP. Sure , lots of fun. I never really hung out with them for a long time personally but they seem like fun. Though I do worry about personally clashes but they seem awesome.

ENTJ / INTJ / INFJ *?: I've read great inspirational things written by these types however I'm not sure what it's like to hang out with these types. I wonder if the J would trigger me , I don't know.

ENFJ*? : Still not familiar with this type. I'm not sure if I ever meet anyone with this type. Maybe a nice teacher I had during school.

INTP*: I have an INTP and hung out with him. As long as we talk about our like minded interests , it's cool. Usually something iNtuitive but if I start to become too Fi that might be annoying to him , I don't know. lol :p

ISTJ / ESTJ - : NO ! I'll level with you. As an INFP in a situation I just want things to be as harmonious as possible. Sure I'm respectful , but yeah then I go off and write something like this. You don't know what's going on in my head ( unless you can relate to my type lol )

ISFJ - : NO ! Slightly more tolerant and less afraid of. More irritated with sarcasm and rude remarks going on in my head. lol

ESFJ - : My mother. lol

ISFP / ESFP ~ & *? : I have a best friend who's that. I could maybe get along with them but something about the S. Whenever I'm talking intuitive stuff , it's BORING. They are great activity friends. You got a fun event , invite them. :)

ESTP / ISTP - : I got bullied many times by these types. And I know I've meet many in my lifetime. Really they must be a majority type. To me and just from my experience , these are types who clearly have been arrested before for something. They are like a street fighter kind. They kind of scare me and make me feel uncomfortable. Just bad experiences I suppose. I might have meet a couple of life ones in my lifetime but as far as I know they went down hill.

Hmm that's a tough one, I'm fairly inconsistent and generally do ok with most people. I think the only types I've ever really had difficulty getting along with were Te doms. There's nothing wrong with them and they usually don't have too much of a problem with me, there's just a sort of tension because we think differently. I really enjoy ISTJs sense of humor, other Ti doms are just as quiet as me so we end up not interacting ever... I've never met an INTJ and idk about INFJ. IxFPs are fun and usually good friend material. ExTPs I typically start off with tension just because they're typically connected more with the id than I am, but some of the people I've grown closest with have been ExTPs (particularly ESTPs weirdly enough). ENFPs it's give or take, more Ne centered ones are easier to get along with. ESFPs I've never really interacted with ever for some reason, though I have no problem with them. ExFJs and ISFJs can be great too, but our priorities sometimes clash. ISFJs in particular are fun, their sass in unreal.

Just started a new job so only really connected with two people, an ESTJ and another I can't quite place but comes across as ESFJ (E is indisputable, too stupid to be an N or T, definitely not a P). The ESTJ I get along with OK since we're both new and smokers in a mostly non smoking office. The other guy can go fuck himself but I can't, for the life of me, get rid of the clingy ass jabroni. Outside of work, where my real friends are, my two closest friends are an ISxP and an INTJ. The ISxP is the polar opposite of me - he is conservative, nationalist, religious and pro military. I'm the exact opposite with pure disdain for those things - yet we're extremely close friend. The INTJ is basically a slightly more practical, goal oriented version of me.

So you can connect with an ESTJ because of the T right ? I have a friend of mine who's married to an ESFJ. It always fascinates me how opposites attract each other like that. I often wonder if relationships work out in long term for them like lifetime lasting marriages and such. I had a friend who sounds like what you were talking about although he wasn't religious but he was a Vietnam vet. And the only thing me and him could talk about was old time shows and some philosophy. He claimed to be an ENFP but I don't think so. I don't know what he was. I want to say that he was an ESTJ but I have a hard time telling them apart from ISTJs. Same goes with ESTPs and ISTPs. By the way out of curiosity , did you guess that "other guys" type ? The one that pisses you off ? I'm just curious.

Pretty sure he's ESFJ. Has all the telltale signs. I don't really buy into the whole opposites attract business when it comes to people. I wouldn't, for instance, be able to tolerate anyone whose religious beliefs are anything more than nominal which makes socialization, already the bane of an INTP's existence, that much harder since my country is 96% Muslim and extremely conservative. Religion and conservative values make me sick to my ass. That means some strange alliances of convenience (an INTP with xSxJ friends! go figure).

Can get a long with everyone, I consider it more of an individual basis than a generalized basis on who I do and don't get along with.

That's interesting. Where are you from if you don't mind me asking ? I'm from the US so it feels like a combination of conservative fundamentalist Christian and state socialism. lol Me and my partner know of a bunch of state socialists but I'm sure she has more of an opinion on them than me. lol

Yeah I think that's what I was referring to was on an individual basic like you mentioned. I'm the harmony person face to face but of course everyone has secret thoughts safe inside their mind ( until they become aware of New Thought / Law of Attraction and realize their thoughts and feelings magnetize everything into their life's experience. But that's just my opinion. :p ) .

ENTP: My type. Rarely meet others, and when I do they seem to be the only ones that don't notice me for a change.

INTP: Funny and smart, haven't met too many.

ENFP: Has the ability to do stupid/unhealthy/dangerous shit 24/7 and feel nothing but psychological regret. The more levelheaded ones are nice, good to talk to. Overall very interesting people that I would not want to spend too much time with.

INFP: Smart, funny, interesting people that tend to not be on Earth half the time so human interaction is difficult. Also stop digging yourselves into ditches.

ENFJ: Can be interesting people, yet too normal for discussion of real evil ideas. Also take into account that one ENFJ that has said nothing but variations on the word "hi" to me for the past 5 months. Can be unintentionally mean with leaving their Se baggage onto others.

INFJ: Actually the definition of "cool". Fun and interesting, smart. Will shame you to hell and back if they disapprove.

ISTJ: My best friend. Ripping apart their fabric of reality is a guilty pleasure of mine. Suffer too much at the hands of neglectful people. let me help you let me help you let me help you let me help you

ESTP: Everyone thinks that they are assholes. They're prolly right, but they are still great people. Stop going to wild lengths to prove that you are cool. Do keep loving life and working on the more real parts of your badassery.

ISTP: Dedicated af. Will block your path on purpose. Teases people, people think that they are being serious. Chill out, sex is not everything.

For some reason most of the important people in my life have been xNFPs. Not that i get along so well with them, some of them i keep really close to me but some have done terrible, unforgivable things multiple times.

So i'm ESTP and...

I get along BEST with
- ENTPs! For some reason i always click with them
- ESTP and ESFP
- ISFJ

I get along WELL with
- NF types, probably because most people where i live are NFs
- xNFPs...most are awesome but there's been a good number of bad memories with some
- ESTJ
- ISTJ
- ISTP
- INTP
- ISFP

Neutral
- INTJ: we can get along but not always
- ESFJ
- ENTJ

I don't have a list of types i don't get along with, because i'm pretty easy-going with people i hang out with.

People i don't get along with are very narcissistic and/or narrow-minded ones. And ignorants that claim to be open-minded but have no idea what they're talking about, e.g. popular "feminazi" girls. But those are not personality types, and the types of these people have included other, nicer people as well. I never judge an entire type by only one or two people.

Even if you are "bad" enough in that aspect for me to dislike you, i still make an effort to get along and be professional. However, that doesn't work with these kinds of people because they look down on me (or anybody that's different from them) and have close-to-zero respect.

Pardon?

---

Anyway I've had good and bad experiences with most types, particularly:

ISTP: My younger brother is a textbook ISTP and aside from typically butting heads as siblings, we get along great now and he's actually pretty fun to be around. On the flip side, I knew an extremely unhealthy and mentally unstable one who engaged in extremely reckless behavior. The moment she asked me if she had to slap me to keep me from saying something she disagreed with, I was out of that relationship very fast. The last I heard of her she's married with a baby so hopefully she's okay now.

INTP: One of my closer friends in high school was an INTP and she was really genuinely sweet. We got along great, exchanged Christmas gifts, and it was fun to talk to her. On the flip side, my INTP psychology professor is the most self-absorbed and narcissistic person I've ever met and every day I go to that class I want to die.

INFJ: The only one I know is very sweet and loves animals and babies and I get along with her amazingly, but she also steals money and other things from family so it's kinda awkward.

ENFP: I know one who's a literal rocket scientist and incredibly sweet, always thinking about others, bought umbrellas on rainy days just to give them to strangers. I'm fairly sure my best friend is also an ENFP and I love her. On the flip side, I knew one who's absolutely crazy and kind of abusive.

ISTJ: My boyfriend is an ISTJ and he's so awesome?? He always gets his homework done days in advance, he's an incredible computer programmer, he likes to kayak, he's loyal and honest and loving and fun to talk to and just overall wonderful. On the flip side, I have an ISTJ family member who can be emotionally unavailable and kind of cynical and insensitive.

It all just depends on how healthy someone is, I think.

Types I get along with really well (In order)

-INTP
-INTJ
-ENTP
-ENFJ
-ISFJ
-ISTP
-ISFP
-INFP
-ENFP

Types I least get along with usually:

-ESTJ (With one exception)
-ESFJ

I'm not sure about other types. Of course this is just a generalization and might not always be the case. I try to keep an open mind and deal with people on a case by case basis. I don't know how well I would get along with my own type 'INFJ' because I don't know any in real life.
