This is a free character strengths survey. I think it'd be really cool if people took it and posted their top one or two or three (or more) strengths. I'm kinda curious if certain types have similar strengths. I took it for a class and we're all counselors-in-training and yet there was still a pretty vast array of top strengths.

It's kinda long but happy test taking!

X_X You have to make an account. Luckily you can wing it with all fake information.

Your Top Character Strength

Bravery
You are a courageous person who does not shrink from threat, challenge, difficulty, or pain. You speak up for what is right even if there is opposition. You act on your convictions.

Your Second Character Strength

Perseverance
You work hard to finish what you start. No matter the project, you "get it out the door" in timely fashion. You do not get distracted when you work, and you take satisfaction in completing tasks.

Your Third Character Strength

Perspective
Although you may not think of yourself as wise, your friends hold this view of you. They value your perspective on matters and turn to you for advice. You have a way of looking at the world that makes sense to others and to yourself.

Your Fourth Character Strength

Self-Regulation
You self-consciously regulate what you feel and what you do. You are a disciplined person. You are in control of your appetites and your emotions, not vice versa.

Your Fifth Character Strength

Social intelligence
You are aware of the motives and feelings of other people. You know what to do to fit in to different social situations, and you know what to do to put others at ease.

All on point. That first one has gotten me into a number of trouble growing up.

The only thing is only thing is on the feelings one. Unfortunately I can be overly sensitive sometimes (The ENFJ curse). But I try not to never let it get in the way in the moment at-least. And I am a big fascist nazi when it comes to health and certain rules, so its pretty accurate.

Neat test.

I think this describes me well!
Mine was way off the mark.

And which mark was that?

*Wipes forehead*

Now I'm glad I added the two cents.

What about yours? I think were curious to see yours too (I am), since youre the OP.
And which mark was that?
"Mine was inaccurate" would have been a better way to put it, perhaps.

It was your insightful two cents that inspired me to inspire others to write up theirs. I think you deserve the credit (or blame)!

Mine is saved somewhere on my computer haha, so I've gotta dig it up first. Post will come shortly.

*Pumps fist* Finally credit where credit is due.

Awaiting to see.
Found them.

I thought these were pretty cool. I never thought of Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence as a character strength, but it definitely describes me so I appreciated seeing that turned into a strength.

Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence seems to hold quite well for making the best of things or seeing the good. Lots of people now a days see things in negative more than positive. So its always good to have in today's world of cynics.

Well idk. I see lots of things in a negative light. I think it's more that the good things I do see, can balance out the bad. I can see beauty in random things: the steam billowing up from a hot cup of tea, the light shining though the window casting a warm glow. And then there's performances. I cry during the opening scene of every musical. It's just so beautiful, and I know how much time they put into putting the show on for us to enjoy. And then there's when someone does something out of the goodness of their hearts for someone else, I love it.

Ahh. That almost falls in the same category, the grander things in the simple things. The artists eye, or so I like to call it. I could see having some artistic talent, or appreciation for it. As you said you do enjoy plays.
