That is the problem. INFP's are commonly NOT found. Online is perhaps the best place. And if you are lucky you find someone online who is within physical reach.
For me that is a huge problem. My country is rather small and for the rest most geographically nearby compatible people who also show up online live in England.

Other than online, its like looking for a needle in a haystack. We hide a lot, sometimes in plain sight.

I've met a lot of I/E NFP's volunteering. Admittedly I haven't done as much of it as I'd like to and plan to do a lot more in the future. I think both types are drawn to earth/nature type causes as well as lending a hand/voice to inner city problems, might be a good way for you to find one as well as the other personal benefits that go with it.

Home: Reading on the porch or in my bedroom. Writing on my computer.

Library/Used Book Stores: Checking off my list of books as the pile in my arms gets bigger and bigger. Just look for the guy carrying 30 books.

Outside!: Walking through parks and nice places. I love nature.

We should just all wear signs that say "I'm an INFP!"

I'm pretty oblivious, so outside of being very good-looking , you can grab my attention by approaching me. I respond best when I am alone and not in a hurry. Approaching me in a friendly, inquisitive way that is not arrogant, assuming, or interrogating is good. I'm put at ease when someone speaks in a more quiet, personal manner than load & boastful.

If you're observant, you can probably find something of interest to me fast, and that will get me talking, which may put me at ease (when I don't know what to say, I feel dumb & more nervous). I tend to wear my interests on my sleeve, so to speak, (although I don't bring them up myself much) and I don't think it's too hard to get a feel for what may interest me in general.

Yes! Yes! I like the sign idea. That'll make finding new friends much easier. I'll make an INFJ sign for myself if you guys think it'll help you out. :proud:

Of course, even with the signs, we'll be fighting to decide who should be the one to approach the other first.
