I think I've been the stereotypically young guy.. The guy who is mid-20s, has developed his own personality and ideas, has a lot of alternative and fresh takes on situations that are entirely individual and original.. but doesn't sometimes have the confidence to voice his opinion and be a little belligerent when the occasion calls..
I mean, I know there will come a point in my life where I feel like I have earnt the badges necessary to stamp my authority on situations, but so far I feel I've had too much respect for elders. Of course, on the other side of the coin, arrogance is never healthy.
Particularly for people further along the path- what do you think of this balance?
