When you get to 250 posts on PerC, gain access to the Debate section, and think "does pineapple belong on pizza?" would be a perfect topic to post.

When you want a little surprise and adventure in your life, but you really kind of want to know about it in advance so you can plan around it. Haha! (Caveat: or you want the person planning the surprise to be vetted in your mind as a capable planner who has thought things through for you to really be able to shut off your own planning mind and enjoy it)

When everyone in your friend group considers you to be the "mother."

When you have to practice active listening or else you'll give advice too quickly. Ah. It took me forever to learn this one. I still slip up sometimes.

Its a little cactus in a pot. I made it for a friend who's terrible at keeping plants alive.
whewwww….. That was my first blush guess.

Then I also thought it may be a bad crack at a bird.

Cute cactus. Should make it a pin cushion and the
cactus would be complete!

Yeah that's it......So you use a small sand bag and knit the
cactus around it. Then you use that for the pin cushion and
voila! You have a true little cactus. Cute and useful!

Not that cute alone is not useful in and of itself.

...You re-arrange the dishwasher after everyone else.
(Suspect this one has been done before... work colleagues don't have a clue though :p)

My mom does this all the time. Drives my dad crazy lol. It's very frustrating when things aren't done correctly!

When you find a bag of porridge oats (oatmeal?) in the back of the cupboard that's 6 months past its best before date and think "I could make flap jacks with these".

When someone saying you're being "unsupportive" is the ultimate insult....

(For background, I disagreed with something a friend said and instead of having a normal discussion she walked off upset. Logically, I know that we should all be able to have differing opinions and talk about them in a respectful way... but emotionally as an ESFJ it still sucks to voice your opinion and then feel like you got a smack down for it even though it wasn't deserved and had more to do with her own issues going on in her life right now).. ugh, I'm such an ESFJ for even letting this bother me....

...followed by a little disappointment that the thread following it is the infamous "Why do people dislike ESFJs?" (one day @SummerRoads we'll see that thread relegated to page 2 )

@orion83uk @SummerRoads

Hope quarantine finds you both well.
(strange to say that)

Even if "that" thread was titled something like "Vent about ESFJ"
or something similar.....would that work?

I find that thread to be almost a dump zone
for peoples immediate problem at hand with their ESFJ
as appose to actual dislike for type reasons.

In my Sub ...ENTP ...we get a plethora of why we suck
style threads up to why we are the greatest. Not so
strange really.

-----To keep inline with the thread-----
As my wife is quarantined at home this is the first
time I have ever had her as an at home wife.
I could fill 7 pages with "you know you are ESFJ when's"
She is adding more to who she is to me during this time
in such a good way.
So I will put this out there as a simple but noticed one...

You know you are ESFJ when you wait at the door for
your spouse to come home with a nice hot coffee and
a smile.

Literally she will open the door as I approach it, coffee in hand,
huge smile and a big I love you.

Heres the clincher... We live in a condo and she cant
see me coming and I also come home at random times after work.
So she must be literally waiting and listening for the elevator.

Excuse me being soppy, but that is really sweet :)
(You know your an ESFJ male when you allow yourself to be sickeningly soppy?)

I sometimes do this with my ISTJ partner, although substitute the mug of coffee with a glass of wine.

How is she finding working from home?

I'm presuming you are still working as normal? Hope your work have put measures in place to help you all keep safe!
