Ever since I can remember, I've always had a problem with "zoning out" when someone talks to me. That is, my mind just kind of drifts somewhere else and I "lose the details" of what the person is telling me and I end up just going into "nod nod nod" mode. Instead of listening, I'm coming up with the plot details of my next book or something.
I think I read that this is an INTJ trait(?). Why the hell is that? I've gotten a little better at it over the years, but I really have to make a conscious effort to keep my mind from wandering. You all get that too?
