    Dip Hem Dresses

I'm usually on-the-fence or negatory regarding women's clothing trends, but I've seen a few of these about and I actually quite like them!

Basically, the trend refers to the back of the skirt/dress being longer than the front of it. Personally, I prefer the subtler dipped hems such as the first example over the second.

    What do you think?

I actually like it but not on me, I'm very short and it makes me look even shorter... but like all trends, it's all the same so I would want to look like everyone else. :/

Oh, really? I haven't tried one on that fit me correctly yet, but I'm pretty short so I'll have to look out for it!

And yeah... well, that's how it is with trends.

They're so pretty. I saw one in red the other week and wanted to take it but I have no where to wear it. :(

My friend calls them the mullet dress: party at the front, business at the back.

I like it. Elegant. Different. Although, I think I prefer the more subtle length difference. Too much, and it can look like a cape. Example:

I don't see it working on me, but it is pleasing to the eyes.

I have two, and I don't really care for them. They definitely function like capes, if it's windy, and I have rather long legs and it almost makes them look awkwardly short in the front. It was a case where I liked the patterns, etc. so much that it overruled the hem. I don't think I'd purchase another, but other than my personal preferences, I don't see anything majorly wrong with them. Just aesthetically not my thing, exactly.

The more subtle one in white is nice, though. I'd go for one like that.

I think they are really beautiful. I only own one. It's from H&M and its pink and white, with cute lace flowers on the back. I love it ! <3 I like the shape of it. I'm keen on buying a Dip Hem skirt soon. :3
