Food REAL food: getting back to basics, less processed food and organics...I actually remember when you smelled all variety of fruits at the grocery store and everything wasn't wrapped in plastic... Farmer's Markets and home preserving.
Decrease in my plastic world: I have read alot of problems with certain plastics leaching into food. I am replacing all of my plastic items in my kitchen (bowls, containers, cooking utensils). It's a slow process but now my kitchen is looking very retro 40's. I've gotten rid of my microwave and even found some vintage glass refrigerator covered dishes which are perfect for storing tofu.
Going to the library: I kind of abandoned my local library for a while...not sure why we split up but I guess I was being seduced by Mr Chapters....well, I have kissed and made up and now search for the books I want to read ahead of time and make sure they are at my local branch. I also borrow alot of movies as well.
Who remembers bade blades and pokemon characters?
I like skinny jeans on men >.> Well... some men. I love that anime and manga are basically a mainstream type of thing in the U.S. because it makes obtaining it all that easier. I love wearing heels with jeans. When I was in elementary school, there was this major trend of wearing schoolgirl type outfits with plaid skirts and matching jackets and I loved that. I remember shopping at The Limited Too and they were filled with the style. I also remember going back to the store like, ten years later and being totally freaked out by the whorish clothes young girls wore.
I remember couple years ago that some kid got jumped over pokemon cards at my school.
Guys, I'm pretty sure it was bey blades, not bade blades. I know that was how it was pronounced, not sure if it was spelled bey though
