It looks promising. I haven't been able to test it yet (no invites ) but I like the concepts they're working on, specially the circles.

But from some reviews I've read, it still has a lot of major flaws. It lacks integration with other Google services, the Sparks doesn't work right, some settings aren't visible all the time...

From what I heard it is accessible to a limited range of people at the moment... If you really want an account I think you could get one at 4chan, you’d just have to look around.

It is not like I have anything interesting to hide, I just prefer to shit with the door closed if you don't mind.

But you do have something to hide, I shocked you didn’t notice... but you must have? You have shown obvious support of Anonymous, not only by your avatar but also in comments such as this one (yes, I actually bothered to find what you posted, then quote it to prove my point... because that’s the kind of OCD person I am).

Here's my favorite anon-vid, artistically brilliant, love the music.
Of course this doesn’t matter now, not when Anonymous is but a trifling matter to Governments, but if it was to get out of hand, if say a few die hard crazy Anon-supports committed a felony quite outrageous, who would the police force be looking for? The crazy supporters or someone to blame? How hard would it be to find out your identity? Are you still sure you don’t have anything to hide?

(Nice metaphor btw, now I have to imagine that. Good job.)

p.s I do understand where you’re coming from here, but we wouldn’t be better off without Google!

I don't mind taking Google+ for a spin when it's released to the public but I highly doubt that it will replace facebook in anyway. Facebook has already imprinted it's influence on most of American society and many other places in the world. Facebook is more than just an average social network, it has everyone already on it. It has People, their families, their friends, their friends families. It's integrated into multiple websites, cell phones, radio stations, and television. Yes we as humans love something new to spice things up in our lives, but Google+ should change it's agenda and focus on a new approach in making a social network. The hard workers over there in google should think more like the creators of twitter and make a social network which has it's own purpose. Instead of trying to compete with facebook they should just make their own route and create something that appeals to the majority but is not in direct conflict with the world's leading/biggest social network.

If they try to compete with facebook than google+ will fail to succeed in being a dominant beneficial social network to the masses. I honestly believe that if Google and Facebook would try to stop competing and started working together then the future of the internet would become, to a much greater extent, very efficient in keeping your whole life much more organized. It would also bring down the apple products (Iphones, Ipads, Etc.), Sooner or later businesses will start integrating the android system into their corporations, creating loads of new possibilities that RIM couldn't produce for companies. Businesses could, with Facebook joining forces with Google, make their websites join Facebooks server to make it easier and more convenient for people to apply to such jobs or to look at the companies page for information. If you integrated wikipedia in there with the Google/Facebook (hopefully one day) merger, than you would be able to do so much just from your facebook.

Facebook, if I have a good thought on where Mark Zuckerberg is going with this, he probably will just make his own computer with the a Facebook Os so everything is just there part of your desktop. I highly believe that is where he is headed with his corporation, which would only be successful if he had someone to help him. Google would be perfect with their Android system and google search engine. They are so many possibilities that could arise from this, sometime in the distant (5-10 years I would presume) possible merger if only Google would stop trying to compete with a corporation that has not only just took over social networking, but became the official social network itself, and just instead joined with them. That would just be the beginning of a future focused around technology, Facebook/google merger would keep everything organized and efficient when it comes to the internet and other technological advances we'll eventually encounter.

So back to the original topic, I will try out Google+ and see what it's about. Hopefully Google has in mind what they need to do in order to compete in the social networking world. I just know that if they try to compete with facebook where we are now social networking then Google+ will fail horribly, making it's creators having to back to the scratch board, looking up new ways to come back from it's third social network failure. They really just need to sell an idea that's popular that the public would crave and then take that idea, implementing it into their social network, having that idea be the whole distinct difference between facebook, twitter, and Google+. That's the only way I see them becoming a strong promising figure in the social networking business.

Sorry for the long response, I'm up late at night and can't get sleep, and my Ne just went crazy for the night and I took it all out on this post.
    Skum thanked this post.

If you would have digged further, you would know that I am an ex-employee. I am speaking with the burden of the reality behind those concrete walls.
    Interesting.
