    Regarding Friends

When I was younger I tended to have a large group of friends, the thing is they were widely varying in terms of their interests (I had all their interests) and if I brought them all in one room it would probably be a disaster as each group would butt heads with another.

You'd think this is more 7 like but I'm apparently a 6w5 -- any other 6w5's have this trait?

I am your mirror and I think that sounds like more fun than shooting fish in a barrel.

When you say mirror -- you mean you're exactly like me?

    I'm a 5w6 whereas you're a 6w5. I am male, you are female. Mirror images.

I can befriend all sorts of people, all of whom who bring out different sides of me. If they were all to get together, I am not sure how I would act because some I am more quiet and contemplative around and others bring out my more energetic, crazy side. It'd be a surreal moment for sure.

As a kid, I had exactly 2 friends, and they hated each other, so--being the coward I am--I'd disown one when I'd hang out with the other. LOL. I've stopped doing that, though.

Starting around the age of 12, I became a loner, and I'm still that way today. Unsixlike, I know.

I do have a variety of acquaintances, including a religious freak, a tuk tuk driver, a gay Bulgarian guy, and some climate activists, but none of us are close, and most of them live in other countries and we don't keep in touch. I'd say I'm too eclectic to be a 6. But I'm glad to know others are the same way.

Well apparently I'm a 6w5 and I'm a bit of a "floater" in my social interactions. I talk to and associate myself with whomever I manage to find some sort of common ground with, even if they seem vastly different from me. When I was younger I always managed to be the common friend of two bitter enemies somehow. Fun stuff.

....I have no friends.....*sigh* I know people and that's it...kinda very effing lonely and sad tbh....this is probably my BIGGEST problem next to being disorganized and an airhead to such a degree that my environment falls to pieces around me constantly.

I'm a 6w7...I'm supposed to be the outgoing buddy type...but I'm not and tbh I don't know how to even begin correcting this gaping hole in my life....much less how to keep it up. Keeping friends and maintaining the connections feels like such a daunting task..I can see how I'll slip up.

Kinda sympathizing with @holyrockthrower on this one...

this new year I sat home, drank some wine and read on my ebook reader while listening to classical music till 4 am then fell asleep trying to defeat some dark thoughts.

I'm kind of unfit to answer OP's question. Idk tbh.

In high school, I didn't belong to any one group, so my friends were all different. For example, the two friends I considered the closest...I never hung out with them both at the same time. They didn't hate each other or anything, but they weren't in the same group of friends either.

Also, I was guilty of ditching a friendship or two because of a friend who didn't like those people. I regret that today. :(

I second those who belong to different groups of friends. I was also like that. But I would never dream of getting all the people in my life under one roof, it'd be like kicking off WWIII! I definitely compartmentalize the people and lovers in my life as they couldn't fit into one single frame. None of my exgirlfriends are anything alike as I dated them during different phases which change often.

I'm surprised I even have friends but I make time for certain friends and associates and all the while, they are completely oblivious to each other's existence.
