I do think NTs do over identify with type 5 way too much (I was guilty but felt it was way off)
Yeah, exactly. I get flak for trying to correct stereotypes... But 6 being dependent on "outside guidance," or "lacking inner guidance," is the biggest and most annoying one imo. Makes us sound like sheeple. If you're a 6w7 (or start to even think you're a 6w7) then that stereotype is considered doubly true. But I keep trying to argue things like this:

In my interpretation, Faith (or "trust," as is my preferred term) can be lacking in either Inner or Outer. I lack "Outer Faith" more than I do "Inner Faith (Guidance)," in that I don't think there's anything in the world that is as trustworthy as myself. (However, I should note that I don't even find myself 100% trustworthy because the brain is constantly lying to itself, it's just that I am more trustworthy than anything else.) I don't follow any set rules besides my own values, and I never really have... You could easily attribute my values to various sources if you wanted, but few of them came from one source. Most were "reinforced" before being followed, though, which I think says something but I'll admit I'm running out of steam for the moment...
...in the hopes that someday it will become the common perception.

Is that a typo? Or is 649 is the only one that doesn't fear being alone?
