I'm a chess fanatic personally. Despite popular consensus that is, (heard most ENTPs don't like it).

ISTPs are drawn to games where they can jump in, discover things for themselves, and master the tools to eventually create something huge and wonderful.

Favorite genres: Procedurally-generated open world, Action-adventure sandbox, City-building simulation

Games to try: Starbound, Terraria, Cities: Skylines

It's close enough in describing my approach to games (figuring out the rules and exploiting them), but I prefer the ISTJ selections (Favorite genres: Real-time strategy, Action-adventure stealth, Tactical RPG). And none of them mention arcade and Shmups, which are my favourite.

I used to play chess a lot. I was in chess club, believe it or not.

I really like RPGs, because you have to guess what the best dialogue options are, make your own decisions, and get more involved in the interaction between all the characters in general. Other games tend to be more detached and I find I don't agree with the attitude of the character. So regarding the article, I favour the ENTP and INFJ labels. But games where you can choose any character you want to fight with is fun. Like smash bros or pokemon. I am not stuck with one specific character throughout the entire game. I also like guitar hero and similar things, because you can get more involved.

*sees a picture of Portal where it says INFP*

Aw hell no, not that mainstream shit.

Portal is a good game, it doesn't matter if it's mainstream or not. Good is good, no matter how popular it is. Get a better reason not to like it.

Ok, well how's the character customization? Because If I can't play as my own original character, I might as well just watch somebody else play the game on Twitch and everything would look exactly the same except they'd do a better better job at it than me because I've never found a game that I didn't suck at compared to everybody else except for Cards Against Humanity where Ne is actually useful.

Why do you play games again?
Also, go download a character creation program if you want to create a character.

I suck at video games, too. Think I gave up? Nope lol. I'm playing fucking Dark Souls. Git gud, bro.

Stop acting like my friend who left me behind last year when she knew very well that she was all that I had after she found out how lazy I was!

I'm not going to stop being me because it hurts your feelings. If you didn't play Portal don't say it's bad because it's mainstream, play it and then come back to tell us your opinion once you have finished, like most human beings.

I'm a lazy fucker, by the way. So fucking lazy I got a lazy boyfriend and layzed around playing Bloodborne on his lap. But I guess playing hard games isn't very lazy to you.
    Tetsuo Shima thanked this post.
