You didn't learn anything from it was my point or pass on the message in any form.

NOTICE: I will work with Flatlander and release full reasoning for all changes in the coming days. This will clear up many issues taken and act as a good place to start regarding future scrutiny. Currently we're both working around a schedule so it will take a bit of time. Thank you for your patience!

This looks just like the original with a few extras and the rest of the questions reworded...

I like these additional questions. I think it's good the two are separate because people can choose between doing a "long" questionnaire (this one practically forces you to write more about yourself, which I like), or "short" (which is just as epic as this one with less questions). You know, if somebody using the "short" questionnaire doesn't write enough, I might suggest for them to do the other questions found in this questionnaire, which is nice. Sometimes it's hard to find the correct question to ask somebody when you're trying to help them figure out their type.

I'll admit before I saw the comments below this questionnaire that I really liked it. After I read the comments I felt uneasy about the whole odd conflict-thing, but I've got to say... I thought this was a lovely idea when I first started reading through it.

I suppose the question being asked now is whether it's practical to keep both of them, and I'd say yes for the reason I explained above.

I saw the second questionnaire and thought it an up-date version to the first, and it seemed reasonable.
What is strange to me is that this conversation about who owns the original, who didn't attempt permission, the originals, the additives, etc.

prolly could have been handled behind the scenes, with hurt feelings being provided for through pm and privately. I, as a reader, really didn't need to know there was bent and boo nor the issue pronounced in soprano. That, to me, is the painful part. It makes it uncomfortable.

S'pose that, new to the enneagram searchers, struggle through responding to either, because of this odd underline.
If it were hotel or dining, notice there are customers having a beer, eating a hot steak.
    Don't we know it.

@SadLuckDame and @Julia Bell and anyone else unsettled by the comments here:

I don't think there was anything inappropriate about discussing things publicly. It's better than doing it all in the background, and it's far too tedius to send PMs back forth between multiple parties. We only have so much time on our hands. Honesty and transparency are key. It's unfortunate that you find it rather unpleasant, but that was the best way to go about it. There are no private board meetings/private chat rooms here. It is, after all, a public forum.

The "odd conflict" is an important concern to people who put time and effort into creating the questionnaire and have been helping people with their typings for over 6 months. Hopefully, you can respect our perspective. It was a civilized discussion between adults. Nothing else. Though, I understand that the questionnaire thread itself should have been kept "cleaner". It's why I proposed to the editors, in my very first post, that they start a fresh thread where we can discuss things openly, and not clutter this one.

In fact, I would suggest that a mod move/remove the comments and close this thread until further notice.

Anyway, guys, I haven't checked if a new discussion thread has been created. If anyone creates it, please tag all parties.

Since there were changes made by me and Flatlander, once we provide reasoning for all changes we'll present them in coming days and begin the thread then. This way every issue doesn't get questioned multiple times for the same reason and require the same response. Post #21 contained this notice.

Thank you. I will await the thread. Please take your time. I must have missed the notice.

@Boss I have no attachment to it. I just decided to give first thoughts, in response as a viewer, in case there is a want of the information.

I was unsettled a bit, yes, but simply because I didn't expect to see that going on in the comments. It's fine. :) I realize nothing wrong happened here.

Why else would people speak out? You have to change minds to get action.
