Heyho boys and girls (:wink, i am trying to get some infos from you about my E-Type. because i am changing my E-type twice per month and thats quite...nasty!
So, here we go:
---
What age range are you in?
26
Any disorders or conditions we should know about?
nope!
1. What do you think your life is about? What drives you in life? This can be something like a goal or a purpose, or anything else that comes to mind.
Yeah, thats really, really difficult! I think, if i really had a good answer for this question, i would'nt need this thread, but i am trying: Peace, develop my creative skills and to give something to the next generations...i want to be somebody people look up to! But it's not about the money, it's more about being yourself and doing, what you love (my philosophy), because i think it would be great for society if everbody would seriously persue what he loves...
What do you hope to accomplish in your life?
To write and publish my novel (the writing part is ESPECIALLY difficult, because my laziness gets angry!). Nothing to regret.
2. What were you like as a kid?
Hmmm...i loved reading and playing (e.g. playing fantasy-soccer with little action-figures or actual soccer). I didn't need much friends, but mostly i had 1-2 good friends and i loved playing with my 3 years younger brother. I don't know whether its important, but because of a serious illness (cancer) i spend half a year at a hospital at the age of 4 and afterwards it was a bit difficult, because i wasn't allowed to play with peers because of risk of infection. but i know almost nothing about this time today...so...yeah, i was relatively clever, liked inventing games and so on...but i also needed enough time alone (introverted)
3. Describe your relationship with your parents. Does anything stand out about the way you interacted?
Hmm...because of the cancer-thing my mother was VERY cautious! And perhaps she did a little bit to much for me, but we had a good relationship. my father was very happy about us kids and did nearly everything for us! when i was sometimes almost a burden for my mother (worries), for my dad i was something like a gift from god (he REALLY wanted to have kids and i was the first one ).
Today...this all is a little bit more complicated, because i really don't want to share anything (and they think i should :wink. They were not so happy about my job-ending a year ago...but i think its alright altogether...
The most difficulties arise about my introvertness (my parents are clear extroverts and "realists"...)
4. What values are important to you? What do you hope to avoid doing or being?
As noted above: no regrets. Especially about work. I want my work to be meaningful and i don't want to do something for 30 years or so and regret that later...
I like to have kids or to do some work with kids (i am football-coach for some younglings and i love playing (football)).
Also i have the wish to become a professor (having something passionate to research AND teach, that sounds great!)
Like almost everybody i want to see something of this world before the end...;-)
5. Aside from phobias, are there any fears that characterized your childhood? Have they continued into the present day, or not, and if not, how have you dealt with them?
I was very insecure about me and life in general, but now i am quite ok. Life had some nice surprises for me and that didn't made me weaker, i think. The best cure for the fear of the unknown is experience.
6. a.) How do you see yourself?
An introverted guy, who is a little bit naive/idealistic. Nice guy and VERY loyal to my few people.
b.) How do you want others to see you?
I want to be seen as clever and a REALLY great strategist!. Cool and experienced guy.
c.) What do you dislike the most in other people?
People who treat dreams/visions/plans like shit (its about whats "realistic"! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!). I am a laissez-faire-guy, as long as people are happy that's ok for me. I don't like Intruders and gossip.
7. Which habit do you most automatically act on? Rank the following habits from most to least automatic, on a scale of 1 (most) to 3 (least).
a.) Work for personal gain with more concern for self than for others. --> 3
b.) Strive for a sense of tranquility in yourself and the world around you --> 1
c.) Decide what is right for the betterment of something or someone else. --> 2
8. Where does the wandering mind take you? What provokes this?
It's all about people and building characters (for my novel or rpg), so i am quite interested in other peoples jobs, personality and biography. What are the reasons for change in people? So enneagramm, cognitive functions are quite interesting too...
9.What makes you feel your best? What makes you feel your worst?
Thats easy: When i am comfortable with a situation/people i feel best. I am witty, charming and full of humor! But this "comfortising" needs some time...
Worst: New Situations, where i don't have an operation-plan/modus! I hate that and so i become something like a C3PO (no star wars fan? no problem: i mean awkward and clumsy robot). I need competence (like everybody) and these situations lower my self-esteem greatly!
10. Let's talk about emotions. Explain what might make you feel the following, how they feel to you or how you react to the emotion:
a.) anger
When i play, i want to win (i hate that, btw). Always winning is difficult, so --> Anger. And than comes shame for this anger...
b.) shame
I have a lot of shame! Up to today i am ashamed of almost EVERYTHING i find interesting (enneagram, personality types, tests of all sorts, science-fiction, star wars, fantasy, writing etc.). But now it's a lot better than years ago...
c.) anxiety
Almost every new situation...
11. Describe how you respond to the following:
a.) stress
I try to be cool and detache.
b.) negative unexpected change
I am trying to see the good in every change, but first i am afraid.
c.) conflict
Drink a cup of tea and hope for the best! (magical conflict solving of the universe!) If that fails, i drink a cup of tea...
12. a.) What kind of role are you naturally inclined to take in a group? Why?
Mediator/Moderator. Why? Because i am good at it! Sometimes i get the leader-thing, but i dont like this responsibility (and the new amount of conflict-potential!)
b.) If put in power, how do you behave? Why?
laissez-faire! I think everybody knows best, what he wants and i don't like to force my will at others!
c.) Do you tend to struggle with others who have authority over you? Why?
Perhaps sometimes, but then i am nothing more than a gentle adviser behind the throne...but mostly i keep to myself.
13. What do you see or notice in others that most people don't?
Their potential! And i see the good in everybody...
14. Comment on your relationship with trust.
I really want to trust and often do, but deep-down i know, that i am the only one to really trust the BIG issues...
15. Briefly: What religious and/or political beliefs do you have? Do you think they influenced your responses in this questionnaire?
Political? No. Religious? No, not really. Whats most religious about me is Joseph Campbell and his works.
Optional Question (due to personal nature)
Discuss an event that has impacted your life significantly; more importantly, how you responded to it.
I had a career change last year. I was on my way to become a teacher (primary school), because it's a safe route to take, but it didn't rule out. I loved the kids, but i wasn't good, to much laissez-faire, to level-headed, to lazy, to little interest in this business (to force kids to learn something they don't want...).
So, with one decision i had all people in my life against me. How could i?! Such a safe job, fair money etc. (i am from secure-masterland germany! :wink But i didn't want to go on and so i had the first time in my life where i did, what ONLY i believed was the right decision...it was hard, but i think i got stronger through that experience...
