    Anyone Up For Typing Me?

Need help figuring out my type... If there's anyone who likes to type people, you would be much appreciated. I know I'm most likely an introvert, but the rest... I don't know... I've taken the test multiple times and typed as INFJ and INFP but I'd like to be typed by someone else... Maybe ask questions? Not sure... Anyway... Thanks, if you want to help.

Let me know how it goes.
I'm simply astounded at the accuracy of that test. It seems like such a gimmick.
It nailed my type ages ago. Nailed my 2 of my friends types and my wifes type as well, IIRC, I asked someone on this forum to take it before, and it nailed there type too.

    Worth a shot?

It's kinda tough typing you with only what you've written in this thread so far. Most people do a questionnaire of some sort, or write down life experiences or characteristics, just about anything they may think people can go off of. However, I'm simultaneously assuming you didn't do so because you didn't really know what to put down, so it's okay. For now, I've got a few questions: you said that you usually get INFP or INFJ. However, what do you think of both types? What parts do you relate to, and which ones do you not relate to? Furthermore, in what ways do you relate to or not to these types? Have you considered other types? If so, which ones and why? The purpose of these questions is not really to track down which type you are right way, but to get your thought process out so that it becomes easier to identify you, since I'll have something to go off of. What'll likely happen, though, is that I may ask even more questions afterwards to gauge this or that to reach a conclusion. Hopefully that won't be troublesome, and I do apologize, but I do admit that information will be necessary.

I just took it and I got INFJ, so it must be accurate (since I've taken other tests and gotten similar results) Thank you for that!

Should I have written out a questionnaire for myself before posting? I can go find a questionnaire and type my answers here. I've seen some questionnaires in the forums but never replied to them because of how many people were replying... I thought maybe I'd never get a reply. If it's easier, I can do that for you. But if you still want me to write about how I relate and not relate to the types, I can do that. Thanks.

    0. Is there anything that may affect the way you answer the questions? For example, a stressful time, mental illness, medications, special life circumstances? Other useful information includes sex, age, and current state of mind.

I don't think I'm too stressed right now, no mental illness. No meds either. I'm male, 16, and right now I'm pretty relaxed.

This is a beautiful picture of a thunderstorm taken from a flat field. There are four lightning strikes, all hitting the ground at the same time, a rare capture. The thunderstorm's dark grey clouds seem to swoop down low to the ground in torrential rain. To the left of that is a yellowish sky, much calmer. You can see the farthest to the left lightning bolt goes through the clouds. I love it, as I love storms, and I wish I were standing there to see it.

    2. You are with a group of people in a car, heading to a different town to see your favourite band/artist/musician. Suddenly, the car breaks down for an unknown reason in the middle of nowhere. What are your initial thoughts? What are your outward reactions?

My initial thoughts would be sort of like this, "Great, now we're going to miss the band. I hope we get this fixed fast." And I'd start to think about what the reason it broke down was. My outward reactions would probably be, "Aw man, that's too bad. What now?" And maybe I'd crack a joke about it if I wasn't too upset.

    3. You somehow make it to the concert. The driver wants to go to the afterparty that was announced (and assure you they won't drink so they can drive back later). How do you feel about this party? What do you do?

Well I'm not a big fan of parties, so I probably wouldn't join him. I would feel a bit uncomfortable with him going without me though, since I'd like to know if he had drunk. I suppose I'd end up going with him, sitting in a corner hoping no one approaches me.

    4. On the drive back, your friends are talking. A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward reaction? What do you outwardly say?

My inward reaction would be like, "I DISAGREE. I DISAGREE." But my outward reaction would probably have me asking him why he believes what he believes and maybe giving a bit of my opinion. Nothing too aggressive at all. I hate conflict.

    5. What would you do if you actually saw/experienced something that clashes with your previous beliefs, experiences, and habits?

If it were my beliefs, I'd keep to myself. I wouldn't change them unless there is actual proof of something. If it were my experiences, I don't really know. I guess I do expect things to be different from everything else, such as past experiences being different from current ones. It's not too shocking, if you get what I'm saying. If it were something that clashes with my habits, I suppose my habits wouldn't change. Once I get into the habit of something, it's hard to get out of.

    6. What are some of your most important values? How did you come about determining them? How can they change?

My most important values are my education, spiritual beliefs, and love. I probably got these from growing up, my parents instilling them into me. That doesn't mean I have the same amount of value as they do for those things though. They cannot easily be changed, as I'm firmly set in my strive to be educated, but the spiritual beliefs are a little weaker. They could be changed by presenting to me new and proved to be true information that goes against the things I believe (spiritually). My value of love can never be changed.

    7. a) What about your personality most distinguishes you from everyone else? b) If you could change one thing about you personality, what would it be? Why?

    a) That's a hard question... I'd have to say my withdrawn attitude in social situations (though that may be because of my social anxiety...) b) I would change my perfectionist tendencies most likely. While it does help in some situations, in others it's crippling. I never seem to do things perfectly, and end up giving up.

    8. How do you treat hunches or gut feelings? In what situations are they most often triggered?
I treat them as part of my intellect. They're my guide, even though I don't ALWAYS follow them. I don't follow them when they seem too irrational. They're most often triggered when n social situations or when I'm with someone and doing something that goes against my beliefs.

    9. a) What activities energize you most? b) What activities drain you most? Why?
    a) Activities like writing, playing piano, playing a video game. b) Activities like parties, attending church, basically anything that includes talking to people...

    10. What do you repress about your outward behavior or internal thought process when around others? Why?

I usually judge people internally, but never reveal what I judge. It avoids conflict. I hate it when people speak there mind without tact, it's foolish and gets them nowhere.
