    Ne Or Ni?

Taking Info From many different/opposites Sources that at first glance has nothing to do one subject with the other but somehow discover how they can work together to create a new Original idea

    You're describing Ni.

Sounds like more than a single cognitive function.

What kind of information? It sounds like Sensation and Thinking to me. Sensation gathering facts and information from various sources and Thinking is literally the function that connects ideas and concepts together like this.

Depending on exactly HOW you're doing this, this would be Thinking (to discover a synthesis based on multiple data sets of "truths") or Sensation (to discover a synthesis of a new fact based on multiple data sets of "facts").

Nothing about this is N unless these sources are imaginary or cannot be known to anyone else or, basically, there is no surety, but, rather faith.

i find your answer pretty insteresting, but how Se gathering differentiates from Ne Gathering? according to what i Know Both Se and Ne are gathering Functions, mostly i am taking Info from seemingly disconnected topics than I'm seeing, reading or thinking about something and suddenly another idea comes to my head and I think "this remind me of"

when im talking, reading or hearing about a new subject, another seemingly unrelated topic comes to my head and then I figure all the similarities between them and how this new information fits perfectly with what I had previously learned or how many similarities this new subject has with the other, i sinthetise the whole info into his core and i suck dealing with facts

Sounds like associative memory more than N or S anything. Here is some more about it.

It also sounds to me like basic brain function regarding schemas.
