Unusually weak cognitive functions(High Ne & Ni (Confuse INXP)

    Hello,

I'm new to the forums, though I been reading for sometime. I need any insight or your thoughts of what my type might be after you read the results blow:

Cognitive Process Level of Development (Preference, Skill and Frequency of Use)
    extraverted Sensing (Se) *************** (15.6)
    unused
    introverted Sensing (Si) *************************** (27.8)
    average use
    extraverted Intuiting (Ne) *************************************** (39.9)
    excellent use
    introverted Intuiting (Ni) ************************************ (36.6)
    excellent use
    extraverted Thinking (Te) *********************** (23.6)
    limited use
    introverted Thinking (Ti) ********************************* (33.8)
    good use
    extraverted Feeling (Fe) ****************************** (30.8)
    good use
    introverted Feeling (Fi) ******************************* (31.7)
    good use

ps. Any idea why the low numbers for each function? is that normal? Thanks!
    Fern thanked this post.

I'm not sure what the scoring is for the keys2cognition test, but I don't think it's based on percentages. Would you mind filling out one of the questionnaires stickied at the top of the thread?

Your cognitive functions are not necessarily "weaker" than anyone else's. Your results are all based upon how you choose to rank things. When people say things like "Omg my Se is awesome", all it really demonstrates is that they rate things in terms of extremes.

If I were you, I would fill out a questionnaire like suggested.

Based on your results, I would take a stab and say you could be an INFP. Ti questions can seem a lot like Fi questions,in my humble opinion.

You might be an ENTP, though. join us, 50shades, join us..... ;) My cognitive functions are in a very similar order of preferences, if what the test results reflect are accurate.

It is a stickied thread in this forum (What's my Personality Type?)

It can be found here: https://personalitycafe.com/whats-my-...ire-2-0-a.html

    These are the questions...

    1. Is there anything that may affect the way you answer the questions? For example, a stressful time, mental illness, medications, special life circumstances? Other useful information includes sex, age, and current state of mind.

    2. What type(s) do you usually score as on tests?

    3. Click on this link: Flickr: Explore! Choose 2 photos and look at each for as long as you feel that you need. Copy and paste the photos here (or write the link like example: www[dot]flickr[dot]com/photos/jacoboson/8697480741/in/explore-2013-05-01), and write your impression of each of them.

    4. You are on the clock to fix something, a friend of yours sits beside you and gives a lot of interesting ideas, none of them actually help or are related to your situation, but they are still something you find interesting. What is your reaction? What do you say? What do you do? What's your train of thought?

5a. What are some of your most important values?

5b. Can they change? What would be the reason if they changed?

    6. You are in a car with some other people, the people in the car are talking. Someone makes a claim that you see as immoral/rude/cruel. What is your inward reaction? What do you think? What do you say?

    7. a) What activities energizes you the most? Why?

    7. b) What activities drains you the most? Why?

    8. Do you believe you are introverted or extraverted? Why do you believe that? (Please be as detailed as possible)

    9. Please describe yourself, what do you see as your greatest strengths and what do you see as your greatest weaknesses?

    10. Please describe yourself when you are feeling stressed. How do you act and why? Real life experiences are welcome.

    11. What is your "soft spot" (the area that makes you upset if people mess with)?

    12. What are most of the ideas/thoughts you get generally centered around (try to expand your answers as much as possible)?

    13. What's your opinion of getting frequent feedback on what you do? (Someone pointing out what is good, what is bad, what and how to improve) Is there a limit to how often you want feedback? If so, what is the limit?

    14. Anything beyond what has been discussed that you would like to add?

I do want to add couple of things. When i was younger i mostly scored INFP but as I got older I score as INTP. When I lurk around the INFP forums I get really bored/confuse or just frustrated. Its always too sweet/fluffy/la la land for my taste and the whole "i want to safe the world" thing has never applied to me as I could care less nor do I love to listen or comfort emotional conversations/situations with others (i have hard time dealing with my own forget someone else's) I usually try my best with someone and their emotions for about 5mins before i get sick and just want to leave. As for the INTP forums, I have not browsed enough since I haven't been into personality typing for quit sometime now. I tend to be pretty careless and laid back just about most things, if not all. I often don't understand mainstream comedy/humor and have been told many times that i have strange sense of humor as people cant tell whether its a joke or not...and to be honest i don't have the patience to explain it. I know I score I in tests but i actually act very much like an E IRL but Im definitely an N and P.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks Guys!

Those kind of tests only lead to confusion. Most people overvalue Ns and Ti, women especially Fe, Ni (women are supposed to be mystical FEs). But here's how your brain works, the more you use a function, or an orientation, the less you use the opposite.

So, what defines you the most ? Four dilemmas, four answers :

    Fair
    Compassionate

    Conscientious
    Pragmatic

    Collective
    Elitist

    Traditional
    Revolutionary
