    Why am I having to much trouble determining my own type?

    My results over the past last year have been;

    INTP, ENTP, INFP, ISTP, ENFP and ESTP. In this order

    I have been reading up on the types alot, probably even to much. Some of them obviously fits more but the rest are not fitting me and my own behaviour "bad" enough..

    I have taken alot of function tests but I know exactly which function they are asking for and this is not helping my cause since I tend to be biased. Not to mention that I think my current state of mind - as in my current mood have an significant influence on what I am going to score, or maybe more like what I feel like scoring.

    How should I go about to find my true type? I want to get the hell out of this fog

    You are the missing link. The key to the tests is going on the first choice that comes to mind, if you are analyzing the tests you are overthinking it. Take one and see how fast you can finish it.

    Well, no wonder, you are a headcase. *drums*

    Relax, and run around in circles. Maybe getting a close friend to look at the functions, and they may suggest which ones you use.

    A person once told me that the MBTI is like a map. It does not "take" you to your personality but "guides" you. There are multiple roads in which you can partake, but in the end your true personality lies in only one direction. You have to find that road, and pinpoint the location. Follow your brain not your heart.
