    1) What aspect of your personality made you unsure of your type?
The cognitive functions and I couldn't understand them and how they could be applied to every type.
    2) What do you yearn for in life? Why?
To travel, write about politics, and enjoy life and take it as it comes

    3) Think about a time where you felt like you were at your finest. Tell us what made you feel that way.
I felt like I was at my finest last week when I got ALL of my homework, even the columns for the school newspaper, done. It's rare that I get these done earlier then the due date. Usually, I get them done the night before.

    4) What makes you feel inferior?
Basically people who think I'm dumber then I really am.

    5) What tends to weigh on your decisions? (Do you think about people, pro-cons, how you feel about it, etc.)
I don't really focus on the outcome of my decisions, I just make them and deal with whatever after I've made them. Sometimes I do think about them, but rarely do I.

    6) When working on a project what is normally your emphasis? Do you like to have control of the outcome?
No, I just like to work by myself. I get's done the way its suppose to, on time, and there's no conflict. No bullcrap in other words.

    7) Describe us a time where you had a lot of fun. How is your memory of it?
I had a lot of fun in Washington D.C. when I got to see the sights around the capital of America. It was really cool.
    8) When you want to learn something new, what feels more natural for you? (Are you more prone to be hands on, to theorize, to memorize, etc)
I don't pay attention to that really. I mean I can come up with theories, but it takes a decent amount of thinking which can be really exhausting. Memorizing and doing stuff over and over again is likely how I learn

    9) How organized do you to think of yourself as?
I'm organized at school to a certain extent, but not in my life at all. I don't plan anything or what not.

    10) How do you judge new ideas? You try to understand the principles behind it to see if they make sense or do you look for information that supports it?
Usually, I don't see the principles, but I can tell if they are applicable, but I do point out the flaws in the ideas and how they may not work.

    11) You find harmony by making sure everyone is doing fine and belonging to a given group or by making sure that you follow what you believe and being yourself? Not really.

    12) Are you the kind that thinks before speaking or do you speak before thinking? Do you prefer one-on-one communication or group discussions? I do a lot of thinking before speaking. I'm not a natural speaker.

    13) Do you jump into action right away or do you like to know where are you jumping before leaping? Does action speaks more than words?
I jump into action when I find something exciting or new to do. I like experiencing new things, but sometimes can be hesistant.

    Likely the night out.

    15) How do you act when you're stressed out?
Go into coping skill mode, forget about it until I have to deal with it again, and try to be positive and talk to myself about how I can overcome it.

Bills, retirement, money, and basically my future.

    19) How do your friends perceive you? What is wrong about their perception? ? What would your friends never say about your personality ? My friends portray me as easy going, fun to be around, in the moment sometimes, and just a take life as it comes type of person. Don't take life so seriously is my point most times. Things change and why plan everything out when you can just wait to see what will happen.

    20) You got a whole day to do whatever you like. What kind of activities do you feel like doing?
Read or write on my computer. Listen to music.

  3. #93

    1) What aspect of your personality made you unsure of your type?

N vs. T When it comes to tests I'm 90 % of the time an ENFP but second comes ENTP and as some people see me as a thinker or deem me too analytical it makes me wonder sometimes... Also, the few ENTPs I know I find quite fun and can relate to them rather well.

    2) What do you yearn for in life? Why?

Deep meaningful relationships, love, freedom, harmony, creativity, adventures as in traveling the world, working in creative fields, meeting unusual people and doing unusual and exciting things...

Why? You only live once, I guess and even though my life has been quite rough sometimes, I've always dreamed of big and awesome things still to come. Relationships are important to me because I love to share all the fun and special stuff with like minded people.

    3) Think about a time where you felt like you were at your finest. Tell us what made you feel that way.

There was a time where I felt as if I could finally be me, being totally authentic and accepted just the way I am. I also felt as if only the sky was the limit, I was very productive and full of ideas and every day provided some special surprise. And of course I loved the fact that I was surrounded by people who loved me and shared the same interests and visions. Life felt like an adventure and almost everything was fun and seemed special at that time.

    4) What makes you feel inferior?

Hm... That's not an easy question... If someone appears super self secure and judging I guess. There's a fear of getting rejected or ridiculed. I don't have the highest self esteem and I can be insecure and shy although I try to hide that as best as I can.

    5) What tends to weigh on your decisions? (Do you think about people, pro-cons, how you feel about it, etc.)

I guess the most important factor when it comes to important decisions for me is the future in my mind. If I should choose a job for example, I question myself where life will take me there and how it will form my future. That's why I also try to keep my options open as good as I can. I would absolutely hate to commit to something for years let alone forever...

    6) When working on a project what is normally your emphasis? Do you like to have control of the outcome?

Yes, absolutely - although it depends on how much that project is of personal interest to me. But if I have to do a project I want to see the best outcome and I'll do my best to form it so that it becomes the best possible outcome.

    7) Describe us a time where you had a lot of fun. How is your memory of it?

I felt very free and happy, doing foolish things with my best friends and partner. We shared an unusual sense of humor and all that mattered was the here and now and making the best of it - no matter if other people thought we were fools.

    8) When you want to learn something new, what feels more natural for you? (Are you more prone to be hands on, to theorize, to memorize, etc)

Somewhere between hands on and memorize. I tell myself that I will focus on what is important and if it interests me, I will explore even more. I try to find out about the basics first and then I will work my way around them.

    9) How organized do you to think of yourself as?

I'm organized when it comes to the necessary stuff like appointments or deadlines. But everything else is very free... It also depends on my mood quite often. But I can be disciplined just for fun because I like to change my ways.

    10) How do you judge new ideas? You try to understand the principles behind it to see if they make sense or do you look for information that supports it?

Most of the time I'm happy to hear about something new and I'm often hooked and want to find out more about it afterwards. Yet I try to analyze and can be skeptical. I definitely want to find out more about it before I come to a conclusion and form or share my opinion on it.

    11) You find harmony by making sure everyone is doing fine and belonging to a given group or by making sure that you follow what you believe and being yourself?

I've been having a not so great phase for the last few years and I tried to find external harmony in caring for others and started worrying a lot about relationships, their value etc. And I dare say it wasn't good for me. I'm back now working on my own path, doing my own stuff (finding huge stimulation in my creative work). I'm definitely feeling much better and more relaxed that way. I'd like to make others feel better. I like to inspire them and comfort them but I guess it's not my natural main ability. It's better for me to get happy through my own talents, interests etc. and then I can be better for the people around me.

    12) Are you the kind that thinks before speaking or do you speak before thinking? Do you prefer one-on-one communication or group discussions?

I think while I speak but I also speak before thinking often times. I often think "why didn't you just pause, think and wait until you said that?" I do prefer one-on-one communication because it feels more personal and has more depth. A group of three or four people is also okay, though.

    13) Do you jump into action right away or do you like to know where are you jumping before leaping? Does action speaks more than words?

Action speaks more than words most of the time.
I'm torn about the other question: I can be spontaneous and foolish but I still often want to know where it will lead to. Hm... No, I guess want to know where I am jumping overall.

    14) It's Saturday. You're at home, and your favorite show is about to start. Your friends call you for a night out. What will you do?

Go with the friend. I can watch that show later on demand.

    15) How do you act when you're stressed out?

I'm having a mental burnout and need to calm, probably take a day or two off and just lying down on my bed and watching movies or listening to music, distract myself from all problems, unplugging my phone and rest, rest, rest. I probably won't talk to others during that period either until I feel grounded again.

    16) What makes you dislike the personalities of some people?

What I most dislike is shallowness, particularly emotional shallowness. I don't like people who are full of themselves and take themselves too seriously either, close-mindedness, nitpicking... I also find people strange who never, no matter how well you know them, talk about personal things and have no or only vague opinions about important matters.

    17) Is there anything you really like talking about with other people?

I like to talk about almost everything but I really enjoy conversations about interesting topics like books, music, art, politics, personal experiences and feelings. I absolutely love people who tell me about something new they've heard, watched or read - may it be theories, a new band, a country they've been to that I know barely anything about or any topic I know not much about.

    18) What kind of things do pay the least attention to in your life

Practical matters, I guess. I honestly don't like to tidy up and just do it because I like nice surroundings but I have to force myself to do this. I often forget about these things too, so I assume subconsciously I WANTED to forget about them. LOL Material things don't interest me much either - though I'm quite an aesthete, like to dress very well and can be a bit vain, I definitely have less interest in reading about make up and new dresses like most women I know. That's where I'm more practical - I buy what I like when I need it but I don't care about watching videos about beauty products or fashion trends. I find beauty channels on YouTube extremely boring.

    19) How do your friends perceive you? What is wrong about their perception? ? What would your friends never say about your personality ?

Most people think I'm kind and generous, even fun and a bit crazy or chaotic. My closest friends told me quite a few times that I'm strong which I'm not sure about. Many people are surprised at how determined I can be if I really want something and I believe many think I'm naive which IMO is a wrong perception. I guess no-one would ever call me workaholic ever. LOL

    20) You got a whole day to do whatever you like. What kind of activities do you feel like doing?

Listening to music, watching something inspiring, writing and then go out with my best friends for a drink, a good conversation, depending on the mood some good laughter and maybe some driving around and explore something new and interesting may it be in a city or in nature.

I am trying to figure out whether I'm INFP or INFJ... so if anyone can give me a hand that'd be much appreciated

  6. #95

    1) What aspect of your personality made you unsure of your type?
Lately i feel very in touch with my emotions. I can't make a solid plan with my life. I like to keep my options open.

    2) What do you yearn for in life? Why?
Quality Love and Friendships. That's what makes me feel safe and content.

    3) Think about a time where you felt like you were at your finest. Tell us what made you feel that way.
I got up on a stage and gave a personal experience not once but twice in front of 1,000 people. I felt put together, i felt special for being chosen to do it, and i felt like i could really help someone and make a difference for someone in the crowd.

    4) What makes you feel inferior?
When my thoughts and feelings aren't valued

    5) What tends to weigh on your decisions? (Do you think about people, pro-cons, how you feel about it, etc.)
I try to think about all three of those things. First I access my feelings and then make a pros and cons list to keep the rational part of me included and not do something with bad consequences. I will think of people as I'm making the pros and cons list criteria.

    6) When working on a project what is normally your emphasis? Do you like to have control of the outcome?
Yes. I like things to be cohesive and aesthetically pleasing. I'm usually someone who cares more than other group mates for say a group project in college. I've ended up taking the lead for the last 2... which i don't like doing... but i care about the outcome enough to do it.

    7) Describe us a time where you had a lot of fun. How is your memory of it?
Went to Cancun with my friend. I remember relaxing on beach with drinks laughing at a photographer harassing us together lol!! I was basically roasting him and she was cracking up.

    8) When you want to learn something new, what feels more natural for you? (Are you more prone to be hands on, to theorize, to memorize, etc)
I'm definitely hands on. Explain things to me as I do it or after I do it wrong.

    9) How organized do you to think of yourself as?
I'm not the most organized but to be organized is an important goal of mine! I'm getting better as I'm getting older.
    10) How do you judge new ideas? You try to understand the principles behind it to see if they make sense or do you look for information that supports it?
Both? I guess My first inclination is the latter because we live in an era of information like never before so now I really don't trust anything I read without proven legitimate sources.

    11) You find harmony by making sure everyone is doing fine and belonging to a given group or by making sure that you follow what you believe and being yourself?
Both!! But also if someone isn't doing fine and there's nothing i can do then I don't feel responsible. I can only REALLY control the latter. Everyone is responsible for their own attitude.

    12) Are you the kind that thinks before speaking or do you speak before thinking? Do you prefer one-on-one communication or group discussions?
It really depends. If it's daily meaningless convo then usually I'll speak without thinking. If I think it's an important topic to either myself or everyone then I'll try give thought to what I'm about to say.

Then sometimes I just cant find the words I want.

    13) Do you jump into action right away or do you like to know where are you jumping before leaping? Does action speaks more than words?

I like to know where I'm jumping. I do think actions speak louder than words 100%.

    14) It's Saturday. You're at home, and your favorite show is about to start. Your friends call you for a night out. What will you do?
Record my show and go out! Then I can have fun now AND later :D
    OR
Ask them what they wanted to do... if it's something i don't want to do or don't want to spend money on then i'll just stay home.

    15) How do you act when you're stressed out?
I binge clean or cook a lot. Or shop around online for the perfect ____ that meets all of my ideal criteria and see if it exists

    16) What makes you dislike the personalities of some people?
Selfishness. Egotism. Thoughtless. People who just use others for what they want.

    17) Is there anything you really like talking about with other people?
Anything they enjoy talking about I tend to enjoy listening. Because they get excited and happy and their personal expression makes it enjoyable for me! And maybe I'll learn something new too

    18) What kind of things do pay the least attention to in your life
Probably keeping my living space clean.. or something else I literally just never noticed

    19) How do your friends perceive you? What is wrong about their perception? ? What would your friends never say about your personality ?
By friends do you mean close ones or casual ones?
No one would probably call me an angry person

    20) You got a whole day to do whatever you like. What kind of activities do you feel like doing?
Enjoy a beer. Do something with a close friend if they have the time. relax. Maybe pull out my guitar.

  7. #96

Thank you for the interesting questions and willingness to help type us!

    1) What aspect of your personality made you unsure of your type?
The only aspect I was sure of was being an intuitive, so everything else.

People consider me analytical and logical (though I keep scoring low on Ti), pragmatic and efficient…yet I was driven by my values and ideals, as well as being more in touch with and comfortable with emotions. I had always been going for what I want and getting it, and have always been refining my vision for my future, so I perceived Ni. I was writing a lot about poetic justice as a kid, which I heard is an INFJ thing to do. Ne I felt was used to warn others about their futures, but in a pessimistic sense, which in CS Joseph’s book (whom I followed lately) could not be a primary function. I liked to classify things thinking its Te, but found it to be Ti? I’m good at pointing out logical flaws, but when I do any analysis of my thinking it comes up Te. I do pull together a lot of knowledge from others and tend to teach that, though correcting the logic of my INTP and him agreeing makes me doubt my type all over again.

I’m definitely not systematic, but can’t tell if pragmatic or affiliative or interest based. Also I think I initiate and inform a lot, but have a lot of habits and sentiments of an introvert… I like to plan, but these sit at the back of my mind as ‘guidelines’ for my day. More likely I work on whatever seems to need work in front of me, or I’m inspired to in the moment. I feel BETTER when I have a plan and when I complete a project.

    2) What do you yearn for in life? Why?
I yearn to leave a long-lasting positive legacy on humanity…one that, like say, Jesus or Aristotle, will be remembered and benefit generations upon generations. - this aspect hasn't really changed

The specifics have changed over time.

Right now for myself I want to have my own biological kids….lots of kids! I want to experience this significant part of what life is, and to pass on my wealth of knowledge and values to a captive audience. XD I want to get to know them as an individual and empower them to self-actualise, and to engage in all kinds of novelty with their fresh young minds.

I have many interests, and have matured enough to realise I can only make a giant impact when specialised. Since I’m wanting to do a great job as a mum, then I will be the best mum possible and since homeschooling, I intend to design a more relevant curriculum for today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.

I yearn to be freed from things that stop me from this pursuit – the many life chores and compulsions towards personal hobbies such as music and personality. XD

    3) Think about a time where you felt like you were at your finest. Tell us what made you feel that way.
Probably doing dozens of new tricks at the beach/pools in my 30’s, with all the boring one-trick-pony kids staring and getting inspired to wiggle their brains a bit and be interesting. ^_^ /rant
    Anytime I write something ;)

    4) What makes you feel inferior?
Not having external markers of success–I’m 30 and don’t have a job, no kids, don’t own a house, husband is overweight and doesn’t ‘impress’ until they know him more, I don’t drive, only 1 friend, can’t fix my sleep, I’m easily stressed…. So just a total loser really. @@ I’m transparent about my weaknesses, so I guess I feel inferior all the time!

    5) What tends to weigh on your decisions? (Do you think about people, pro-cons, how you feel about it, etc.)
Too many things. Immediate and long-term considerations – mainly whether it’s the right thing to do and the action’s efficacy. I consider both. Thinking about how I or people will feel about it, how to do it efficiently etc are all tactical after-thoughts. My husband says to me “you don’t need to butter me up” XD

    6) When working on a project what is normally your emphasis? Do you like to have control of the outcome?
Yeah. If I’m going to invest in something, I’d like to have my dividends if you know what I mean… I still care for others to have input, out of fairness. I’m not into democracy though – the mob is not always right – just consider history! May the best ideas win.

    7) Describe us a time where you had a lot of fun. How is your memory of it?
Fun? What’s that? I have responsibilities… Hmmm ok let’s see… I had fun making snarky remarks in these questionnaires! It’s my idea of having fun, but I appreciate a good audience when it happens. I guess I had a lot of fun singing at the choir performance – I had a part for which there were practically no other singers (you could hear), so felt I could really make a difference. Expressing the music in my face and body too, and watching some amusing people in the audience as well as the emotional face of the conductor when we did well was lots of fun!

    8) When you want to learn something new, what feels more natural for you? (Are you more prone to be hands on, to theorize, to memorize, etc)
Hands-on for sure. It takes a lot of mental effort for me to go through dry instructions, and with demonstrations I have to figure out how it translates with regards to left-right etc. I’d rather do it under supervision and develop muscle memory. It’s how I learned to play piano, harmonise etc.

    9) How organized do you to think of yourself as?
Very good at organising, not so good at following through as I ad-lib. Though I must say I’m almost never ever late to anything!

    10) How do you judge new ideas? You try to understand the principles behind it to see if they make sense or do you look for information that supports it?
My first reaction is to judge if they make sense – that just happens by itself in my brain without much effort. I don’t feel at ease though until I have information to support it, and I have checked the validity of that information. As you can imagine, that rarely happens thoroughly enough for me to feel confident about any idea or belief.

    11) You find harmony by making sure everyone is doing fine and belonging to a given group or by making sure that you follow what you believe and being yourself?
I’m very sensitive to anyone being excluded or to negative emotions, so I tend to deal with those first. Internal harmony is important too though, and I will not stick around a group where I am not able to be true to my values or be myself.

    12) Are you the kind that thinks before speaking or do you speak before thinking? Do you prefer one-on-one communication or group discussions?
Speak before thinking  I think by speaking.
Prefer one on one for sure. Groups can be useful and I don’t mind them as long as one person speaks and one idea is discussed at a time.

    13) Do you jump into action right away or do you like to know where are you jumping before leaping? Does action speaks more than words?
I tend to act too hastily, and I’ve had people break their word to me so many times that I don’t care much about what people say as much as what they do.

    14) It's Saturday. You're at home, and your favorite show is about to start. Your friends call you for a night out. What will you do?
I will get it off the internet any time I like. ;) Scheduled programming is for normies muahahhahaha
Night out though? Sounds dodgy like some boring bar party. Unless they’re playing social games like mafia or charades at home with home-made kombucha, I’m probably not interested. 

    15) How do you act when you're stressed out?
By seeking understanding of others and trying to lower their expectations, but they just get mad at me thinking I’m making excuses T_T ….So I just go and judge myself on my own. One judge is enough for me when I’m stressed. :)

    16) What makes you dislike the personalities of some people?
Being a bigot and hypocrite.  Not having my own needs met. Just having so many differences that the other person seems ridiculous and vice-versa. Tend to poke fun at sensing types that seem unable to imagine consequences and act on instinct like animals. At least they’re able to enjoy life, while I just plan to do so, or think about it how much I’m enjoying it. :p

People being so stuck in their ways they refuse to consider another perspective even at the cost of perishing.

    17) Is there anything you really like talking about with other people?
About their future plans and how they are going about achieving it; about topics of interest such as health; what makes them tick etc.

    18) What kind of things do pay the least attention to in your life
Mechanical stuff? E.g. how cars work and how to fix them; popular culture such as sports, current melodramas and fashions – I just care about what’s meaningful to me and having to learn such things to ‘fit in’ is very annoying for me.

    19) How do your friends perceive you? What is wrong about their perception? What would your friends never say about your personality ?
A lot of them say I’m the kindest/nicest person they’ve met! Haha. That’s cause I’m super nice to individuals, while I rant on aspects of humanity as a whole (though they know it’s mostly done in good humour).I think a lot of them don’t know I’m pretty judgemental but tend to not voice such things because they don’t build people up. Some think I’m really organised because I take/bring notes and itineraries etc but I’m actually pretty spontaneous in daily life. Some consider me predominantly a thinker, just very emotionally sensitive.
People who don't know me long enough think I'm always serious and take me literally, when I'm actually a playful goof (though every joke is half-serious!).

They would never say I’m uncaring or boring. :)

    20) You got a whole day to do whatever you like. What kind of activities do you feel like doing?
These questionnaires/quizzes mainly, and if I had an interesting dream last night or had been running detailed dramatic scenarios in my head when I should be asleep (as I usually do), then writing them down to hopefully refine into something audience-friendly. Going for a swim would be my ideal activity (refreshing and creative exercise, also meditative putting me in the present moment), otherwise dancing or singing. Perhaps there’s some interesting event or place or food out there that I’d like to explore with my husband or a best friend.
