Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The wikipedia page states that the humors relate to the MBTI temperments as such:

Yellow Bile - NF
Phlegm - NT
Blood - SP
Black Bile - SJ

The combining the video with the wikipedia page, your favourite Ninja Turtle should be:

NF - Michelangelo (Orange)
NT - Donatello (Purple)
SP - Raphael (Red)
SJ - Leonardo (Blue)

However, despite me having an INTJ, my favourite Ninja Turtle was Raphael (SP) who is my opposite.
And, being slightly better versed than the fine folks at Cracked.com in the fields of personality analysis, I believe that the table should be:

NJ - Raphael
NP - Leonardo
SF - Donatello
ST - Michelangelo

Of course, this adjustment to the table is based only on myself, I need a wider range of people, which is where you come in.

Okay, according to some recent thoughts.

The Four Humors seems to relate more closely to the Enneagram.
So, maybe the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles does too...

I'm confused, I'm going to need some time to work on this theory...

So, what's your enneagram, personality type and favourite Ninja Turtle?

Okay im INFJ. Neither tables work for me cos ive always loved donatello, the purple turtle, the brainy one. Turtle power! And then mike cos hes the fun one, then rafael cos hes the grumpy one and then master splinter even if his not a turtle and then leo cos hes just my last fave.

There seems to be a pattern between type 9 NFs and Donatello.

Which makes this nerdy IXTJ mentally jump for joy.

Why didn't I think of this earlier?

Your favourite Ninja Turtle is your 'ideal type'.

NFs like the NT Donatello.
I'm both an NT and an SJ so I like Raphael (SP) and Michelangelo (NF) [although Raphael is number 1].

Therefore:
NF's favourite TMNT is Donatello.
NT's favourite should be Michelangelo... (This doesn't sound too likely to me...)
SJ's favourite should be Raphael.
SP's favourite should be Leonardo.

This, ladies and gentlemen is the EXACT correlation of the MBTI temperaments and the TMNT I was looking for.

As an INFJ, your 'ideal type' is an NT [ENTP, to be precise].
Which places the NT Donatello as your first.

Then, you're an NF, so you picked someone you can relate to.
Which is why your second choice is Michelangelo.

You share your Judging with the SJs.
So, the SJ Raphael is your next.

You share nothing in common with SPs.
Which is why you ranked Leo underneath Splinter.

What a worthy scientific study project :).

Its been so long ago since the TMNT were my heroes I can hardly recall the personalities of the turtles.

I liked them all but my favorite was Donatello. Level headed, strategist and technical genius.

I thought I was a type 8 at first since I tested that way, but then discovered that I am both a type 7 and a type 8. I lean just slightly more towards type 7 though. I would have said growing up I would have been a 7w6, but now I would definitely say I'm a 7w8. I remember taking an MBTI in Jr. High and it said I was an Introvert. I don't remember the rest, but I think it would have been INTP which I will occasionally still test as depending on my mood. Looking at how I was as a kid, and how I am now though, I would say that I am definitely an ENTP that was just extremely self-conscience as a teenager which made me seem introverted.

My favorite ninja turtle was always Raphael. He was a smart-ass loner with a temper, which I could relate to. My second favorite was Donatello because he was a freakin' genius which was awesome. My third favorite was Leonardo, partially because I liked the katana's and partially because he had discipline and was decisive, which kind of reminds me of my dad and older brother (They're both SJ's). My least favorite was Michelangelo. He was kinda an idiot and never thought things through very well.

By the way, the whole color scheme thing could be rendered irrelevant as I seem to remember the original comic books having all 4 turtles in red. I don't think they split up the colors until the cartoon came out.

9w8, ISTP, Michelangelo cos he was funny. (Even though now he seems a bit annoying and irresponsible.)

Next was Leonardo cos he was calm but he always depressed me, maybe he was too calm and disciplined.
Didn't like Donatello, he was always too controlling and bossy.
I hated Raphael, he was always so angry.

I loved TMNT as a kid and my fav was Donatello or Leonardo I could never decide

INTP, Type 5(-9-4), Raphael.

I always liked Raph the best because he was the loner. The goal-oriented, no bullshit guy. He was a little bit of an ass, though, sometimes. Are we sure about SP on Raph? I want to hear someone's case for it.

My second favorite was Donatello. I think his personality was a little too bubbly for me. I appreciated his intelligence, but Raph's cynicism chimed better with me as a kid (I'll have to reassess how I feel about them now).

Third was Michelangelo. He represented letting loose and having a good time. His lack of mental sharpness was a little off-putting, though.

I always considered Leo last, but I guess it's because I never had too much respect for the "go-getter", leadership type. I understand the importance and appreciate people who can get the job done, but the other turtles had more qualities that I find appealing.
