I love this thread, but don't really have anything to add! I can't find any disagreeances.. except that gold for ENTJs doesn't sit completely well with me. I don't know why, however, and don't know one that would suit them better :p As an artist, it's really neat to imagine the types with colors, and I wonder what other people think about this thread and the color/type correlations that were given.

I actually really like the colors I chose and the more I think about it, the more they seem to make sense.
(Please keep in mind that many of these are based off stereotypes.)

Neutral, less emotional colors: Black, brown, grey, and white. Navy blue could fit in this group.
Creative colors: Blue, yellow and purple. Maybe green?
Loud, stimulating colors: Red and orange. Brighter pinks, too.
Metallic colors: Gold and silver.
Green is cool (Fi? Because the feelings are internalized and less obvious than Fe)
Pink is warm (Fe?)

I chose the 4 neutral colors for all the introverted thinkers due to introverted thinking having the tendency to be more neutral and middle-ground with processing ideas and emotions. Emotionally neutral colors.

For instance, black is considered to be a very cynical, conservative or negative color. It represents a lack of feeling and the unknown. The future is also unknown and intuitives tend to be more future-focused than sensors. INTJs have the stereotyped tendency to be just that. Logical, future-focused, etc.

INTP for grey because as the first person to reply to this thread stated, grey is considered to be "the color of truth"
INTP place value on knowing/finding the truth maybe more than any other type. They have great respect for it and often spend their whole lives seeking it out.
An INTJ usually values intelligence, knowledge and competence...but not necessarily truth, at least not in the way that INTPs typically do. I've noticed this with my good INTJ friend. When discussing something with her, she usually has the most negative (but usually still logical) perspective on whatever it is we're discussing.
I am more likely to see both the negative and the positive. I see things from all angles and am very middle-ground and impartial, much like the color grey. INTPs can be very cynical as well, but hardly to the extreme of many INTJs (or only as I've observed.)
It's almost like an INTP strives to be neutral (grey).

Navy blue for ESTJ because navy conveys importance, confidence, power, and authority as well as intelligence, stability, unity, and conservatism. Like black, it carries a sense of elegance, sophistication. It's associated with police and military.
I had seriously considered red for ESTJ, I guess because I immediately think of authority when I think of ESTJs and red stops you in your tracks (a stop sign, for example)
But after looking into the meanings behind the color navy and all it portrays, this one was just a no-brainer for me.
Red fits ESTP so much better.

Brown for ISTP because brown is as neutral as grey. Both INTP and ISTP use Ti as their primary function, which causes them to be more emotionally neutral. Brown is down-to-earth and practical. It's the color of dirt. Grey just seems more 'head-in-the-clouds' I suppose you could say. Maybe I say that because clouds are grey? Lol it really makes sense to me, though.
Brown also has that red in it, which is an action-oriented color. That points to exactly what SPs are famous for. It encompasses the neutrality of introverted thinking along with the SP preference for outdoorsy action and not being afraid to get down to the nitty gritty and get their hands dirty. It stays neutral and is what it is, but gets the job done.

The more I read about white, the more perfect it seemed for ISTJs.
It's not very emotional, but still organized, tidy, traditional. All the things ISTJs typically value.
White is usually symbolic of innocence/'purity'. The way they place such extraordinary value on stability and their traditions can come off as very innocent in its own way to me. White also represents a clean slate, and the down-to-earth way ISTJs prefer to focus on the present rather than relish too much in the past or get lost in anticipating/analyzing the future seems to fit that representation fairly well to me. ISTJs can be quite innocent in their values.
I don't think it's perfect, but this color seems to represent this type best to me.

Colors such as blue and yellow are more creative and symbolically intellectual.
ENXPs tend to be very creative because they use Ne as their primary functions. Blue is widely considered a creative color that signifies intelligence. An ENTP is likely to value both those things. Blue can be emotional (especially lighter shades), but is a bit more controlled and doesn't embody the same warmth, emotion or enthusiasm yellow does.

Yellow is also considered creative but is warm, enthusiastic and emotional at the same time. Yellow is also without a doubt considered to be the most optimistic color (hello, sunshine) so, yes I think yellow suits ENFP very well.

Pink is considered to be the most symbolically nurturing color and stereotypically XSFJs are the most nurturing out of all the types. I know pink has long been considered a more feminine color, but XSFJ traits are undoubtedly more stereotypically feminine.
Even in XSFJ males.
Brighter/darker pinks are more assertive (extroverted) than lighter pinks.

Colors such as gold, silver and apparently purple (from reading about meanings and symbolism behind the color purple) are supposed to be futuristic, and intuitives focus on the future more than sensors. Purple is also considered to be creative.

So ENFJs and INFJs having the colors of purple represent them seems quite fitting.
ENFJ being the lighter shade because I see lighter shades of purple being a bit more eye-catching (extroverted) and out there.
I chose brighter/darker pinks for ESFJ and softer pinks for ISFJ because ESFJs tend to be much more assertive than ISFJs.
ENFJ can be sociable without being so assertive (at least most ENFJs and ESFJs I've encountered) which seems more like what lighter purples do.
To me, darker shades of purple (INFJ) are less noticeable and "out there" than lighter purples. Introverts are more comfortable with and tend to prefer being on the sidelines rather than in the spotlight, as opposed to extroverts who tend to mind less about receiving public attention.

ENTJs and INFPs are intuitive. They tend to be less empirical than sensors. I've seen definitions of meanings behind gold and silver as being not as practical or down-to-earth, which sort of makes sense.
Gold and silver are also metals, and not always counted as 'real colors' as opposed to something tangible and in its natural state. They aren't as practical as ESTJs or ISFPs, so intuitives being represented by metallic colors seems more fitting.
Gold is also supposedly thought to be more 'masculine' and silver more 'feminine'. I think it's safe to say that ENTJ traits would be considered more 'masculine' and INFP traits more 'feminine'.

When I think of gold, I think of achievement and ambition. Like a gold medal or trophy.
ENTJs have the stereotype of being the big-time achievers and go-getters that will stop at nothing and use any means to reach their goals. Thinkers are more likely to prefer competition over harmony in a work environment (feelers tend to prefer harmony).

Green for ISFP makes sense due to the SPs ongoing stereotype of being more outdoorsy and action-oriented. ISFPs can be quite nurturing but still have the action-oriented sensing/perceiving functions. Green is cool and calming, but also symbolizes action, nurturing and emotion altogether, which I think fits ISFPs quite well.
Green can also symbolize money and envy. I know SPs have a tendency to covet their impulses and are also more likely to view money as something to be used and enjoyed rather than saved for a rainy day.
Envy is feeling-based, so I can see a feeling type more likely to be susceptible to jealousy than a thinking type. Green is an emotional color while still being calm and practical. It's not as creative and intuitive as blue, yellow or purple.

Red for ESTP is just too perfect, as well as orange for ESFP.
Seriously, just read the meanings behind the colors. They both are attention-grabbing, in-the-moment and thrill-seeking colors.
Orange has many of the same aspects and meanings as Red but much less violent and more focused on harmony. Red is very BAM in your face, orange is still very stimulating, but not as aggressive as red.
Due to ESTPs preference for thinking over feeling and stereotypical 'take no prisoners' attitude, I think red fits them better than orange and best out of any of the other colors.
I know red is considered to be a romantic color and ESFPs tend to have a romantic side to them, but it's also very lusty in an animalistic way.
To the human eye, orange is a very hot color, so it gives the sensation of heat. Nevertheless, orange is again, still not as forceful as red. It can still have that hedonistic and passionate desire for intimacy and physical contact that ESFPs tend to desire due to their Se-dominance, but without the abrasiveness that ESTPs are more likely to have.

This kinda fun, guys. Keep 'em coming!

@Swaghetti "green is not a creative color." Sorry if you don't get that reference haha. Anyway some of the the things you said about ISFPs I agreed with and some I didn't. I often think the fact that I'm an enneagram 4 makes me stray from many of the ISFP stereotypes you were referencing. For example I don't consider myself to be "practical" and healthy 4s are described as being "sensitive, creative, and intuitive to themselves and others". Overall good list though, by the way my favorite color is green.

I'm so happy people so far have liked and agreed with this. I guess I wasn't sure how it was going to be received. I put a lot of thought into it, though.
@allynicole "Let's get creative!" - Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared! Lol
Yeah, that's why I tried to make absolutely sure people knew I was going off more stereotypical descriptions of the types. I have a friend who I am sure is probably an ISFP (or ISFJ). She tries extremely hard to be very understanding with people and often makes decisions based off feelings. She's also quite a romantic and appears to have a bit of a rebellious side. ISFPs have been the most puzzling for me to figure out and understand. I love 'em, though!
Anyways, she seems to fit the ISFP's artistic stereotype. She was an art major, after all. She was very creative with her art, but she would get confused/annoyed/uncomfortable whenever I tried to discuss concepts/ideas with her. Typical intuitive things.
I remember one time we were at work and our boss wasn't there and she had to do something before she could get off and do her homework. She was telling me how she didn't feel like it and I told her "Yeah, but if you do it now you'll have more time to work on it later." She was like "I never think about that. I always think about in-the-moment stuff."
LOL Such a typical intuitive-sensing conversation.
She also had the ability to sometimes make me feel like an asshole when I'd be talking/complaining to her and I'd start being a too-critical NT. A lot of my feeling-dom type friends have the ability to do this.
It's a terrible communication barrier that I wish they could understand where I'm coming from. I don't mean to be mean! That's why I find comfort in MBTI. It helps me understand people, and understand myself.

@Corvine Power Rangers is a long-time running American television series for children. The Power Rangers were a group of heroes dressed in color-coded costumes. For example, one was blue, one was red, another yellow, a pink, and a green. As the show progressed they continued making more shows and making rangers with more colors.

You can look it up on Google.
