I've noticed this too and it's annoying. ISFP+ENxJ females on the otherhand can be glamorous because of their Se but ESTP females are mingers and they are Se doms? It's nonsense. I think it might because they're really rare and the ones that the intuitives tend to know are the tomboys while the hot ones tend to just hang around with their fellow sensors. I think the tomboy stereotype should go more to the ISTP females. All the famous ESTP females that are noted are girly in appearance.

ESTP men get stereotyped as charming, smooth lovers
INFJ men are mistyped as ESTP a lot, especially in acting. Generally, looking at celebrity types page, there's a lot of Fe-aux people mistyped as ESTPs, that could be the reason for it.

Anyway, from what I see, ESTP women tend to be performing feminity, except that their make-up is especially grotesque.

i thought istps were the tomboys, all the estps are sexy androgynous though, but that's a trend now
ISTPs seem to have less caked up faces.

I find this interesting but, inaccurate. I barely/rarely even wear make up. Maybe, on the weekends if I am going somewhere/special events and it is more of a relaxing taking my time getting ready while jamming out to music.

I have not noticed many if any ESTP females on this site with pictures having "grotesque makeup on"

Most ESTP women I've encountered were actually very feminine in the classical sense (hair, make up, trendy, revealing clothes and yes, sometimes even some plastic surgery). Se Doms have a tendency to really put emphasis on stereotypical gender appearance. In that same way, that's why your stereotypical ESTP male is often a gym freak, showing off his biceps, tattoos, swearing and spitting all over the place, you know, to emphasize the fact that he's ''all man''.

However Ti is what makes ESTP women seem more ''manly''. Not comfortable with that word, but that's all I come up with now. And that's because speaking and analyzing things purely through their own logic, they can come off as being more boy-like in their approach to things. It's obviously societal bias through norms but that's pretty much it.

Ehhh, the mental image I have of a female ESTP is a really cool girl from Swinging London in the 60's who's into fashion, like Julie Christie or something. Or Scarlett O'Hara.
Julie Christie is an ENTP. Scarlett O'Hara was played by an INFJ.

I guess almost all the photos I've seen, could be made on special occasions because they are all photos of somewhat famous people. *shrugs*

do you consider feminine?

that's what i thought. i think the ones that are stereotyped as tomboys are probably the ones who are into MBTI or the ones that talk to the intuitives are the tomboys.

that's probably due the famous ESTP women tbh but the ones that seem to be into MBTI are probably mostly the tomboys that don't fit in with women and it looks like most of them are that way.

ISTP women are tomboys. And yes, I have muscles. Not a body builder, but I'm physically fit. I guess I might be butch, but I don't think I get treated like one of the guys. Not masculine enough for that?

ESTP women are not tomboys. That's just weird. They're Se-doms with tertiary Fe. They are well aware of and comfortable with gender roles.

I'm marginally aware of gender roles, but rarely take the time to fit them.

The word comfortable aptly fits the description of how I dress. Whether it is dressed to the 9s or going muding, shooting, or fishing whatever I wear, it has to be comfortable. I usually dress based on my mood too. I have gone muding in a skirt and heels. : )

I'm awkward and uncomfortable dressed up in girlie clothes. People claim I look good, sure doesn't feel like it.

My ex-GF was ISTP and she was tomboy as fuck. It was so cute when she tried to dress more "feminine" to please me. I don't even like "hyper feminine" girls, but she was just to fucking cute when I could clearly see that she had no clue at all about how looking "feminine"...

I tend to get likened to sporty spice a lot. I.e. Sporty comfy but very lipstick sporty look. As a child under 14 I tended to look more tomboy. Eh I would say I can clean up very shiney.

Day to day definitely very lipstick sporty look. Going out I prefer simple clothing with an accent of one thing per outfit which is bold. I would never wear huge hoops, flashy shoes, short skirt, and low neckline all at the same time. That's a fuck no. But I will pair a short skirt with everything else basic and maybe accent with one of these... either flashey sunglasses glasses, flashey shoes, or a hat. I guess I like less is more. Timeless staples and trendy accent. My clothing tends to be multi functional and practical but somehow subtle bold (rather than directly overstated).

I will say I look like shit in any frilly extremely feminine stuff. Slutty come hither cocktail dress yeah I can manage that and pull it off. Sophisticated Basic yup can pull that off. Lace yes. But if you attach a lot of print especially floral and it looks like curtain material from the 70s and get me to put it on, I look like a child throwing a tantrum for her mother dressing her in foo foo shit.

Ya know what is my nightmare the gawd awful ugly ass bridesmaids dresses people pick. It's always foo foo
