This is a good idea, that thread can get kind of hectic, and doesn't really have a unified list in it, and even if it did, it'd probably get lost in the sea of posts even if it did. Whether or not we can really tell someone's type through a persona aside...

Oh don't mind dimples,
he's gambling that his charm will let him get away with being a perpetual party pooper :tongue:

But in the center of his tootsie pop, he's just jelly INFJ's are super cool :cool: :kitteh:

Heh, we INFJs are pretty cool! I just wish this would get stickied so that an official list could be kept up. :blushed:

What do you base your analysis on?
Although I was AMAZED and THRILLED to see David Gilmour and Roger Waters in your list, I'm not at all sure this is true. To me Waters is an Extrovert, and Einstein was an xNTP.
And so it goes for a lot of people in this list.

I actually did add any of these names to the list myself. I simply organized all the names mentioned in the original thread and transferred them here.

But I can say one thing, Roger Waters has said in a few interviews that he is an INFJ, and I think it makes sense when you look at his work. He's open with his opinions, but keeps his private life private. His work reflects introversion. He's intuitive and makes a lot of musical decisions on the fly and also within/without styles. He's feeling, his work clearly shows that much. Finally, he's definitely judging. He needs and likes structure, and he is very analytic in his personality.

Waters is my favourite lyricist of all - went to his The Wall Live show last year.

There is also John Rzeznik the singer from The Goo Goo Dolls.

This song is so INFJ it oozes it (If you have seen the movie treasure planet it will make more sense)




I have also heard that C.S Lewis may be one but I am unsure. On another note MLK Jr is an ENFJ ^^'.

Okay, I came on today searching the Hitler threads when I realized that someone I know is like Hitler.

I've provided cogent reasons that Hitler is not an INFJ or ENFJ in the past. Too much is contradictory. Yes, an INFJ or an ENFJ can have a dark side. It's just not that particular dark side.

The J part is right about Hitler. I realized that I am closely related to someone who is a whole lot like Hitler. She says things like, "Hitler had the right idea about killing people with Down Syndrome. It is the compassionate thing to do," and "I wish I had a spray that I could use to get rid of all the trashy people in the world." She is half German and super into order, organization, and conformity. She also "rescues" a lot of strays but often puts them to sleep and is too quick to put her own pets to sleep.

She has tested as an ISTJ and is consistent with ISTJ.

I am pretty sure that Hitler was an ISTJ.
