It's weird my sleep habits a irregular as can be, the same way I like my awake schedule. When I feel like doing something I do it. I'll go 30hrs without sleep if I'm into something interesting. If I don't have anything to do i'll sleep 15 hrs straight. You peeps have the same prob.....?

Well, as for me I sleep quite late at night, usually between 1-4 in the morning. I take plenty of naps during the day when I don't have class. During the weekends I sleep for around 8-11 hours. When I need to finish something due to procrastination, I usually power through until 3-4 in the morning.

I used to try to follow a sleeping schedule but I either end up staying up late anyway or don't end up falling asleep until hours later. lack of sleep doesn't do shit to me anyway, it only really affects me if I go for a few weeks without a proper good nights rest.

There's napping, hibernation, micro-sleeping, just-enough-6-to-8-hours, gawd-awful-waking-up-in-the-middle-of-a-REM-cycle-to-my-alarm, and being awake. But sleep? Not entirely sure what that means. There's no consistency in it, given that I have to deal with the world and can't just wake/sleep whenever I want.

3-5 hours is average, but 30 hour stretches aren't uncommon at all when I'm focused, and micro-naps can extend that for another day or so. Afterward, I'll easily clock 10-12 hours, then be back on my usual routine. Mental burnout sometimes requires a similar "lazy day", but those are more laying in bed collecting my thoughts than actual sleep.

Oh man, do I ever love sleep. I'm the 8-10 hours a night type of gal. Since I've been living with my boyfriend I tend to get more like 5-7 hours a night, but it's okay.

I don't really nap, cause fuck I have shit to do during the day.. I find napping makes it harder for me to fall asleep when it's bed time.

After a few days of less than 6 hours of sleep then I need a good sleep of like 10-11 hours and I feel perfect after.

I usually stay up till 2-4 am, then sleep till noon. I tried to change that so it would be overally easier to fit in with studies etc. but I always end up coming back to my old routine.
Sleeping any less than 8 hrs makes me want to kill myself that day :p Good sleep is really important to me.

I usually sleep as needed. If I'm tired I'll go to bed early (9 ish), or I'll stay up until midnight or later. During the week I'm up at 5:30 for work and on the weekends I'm up when I feel like it (or when I have to use the bathroom, whichever comes first).

My sleep habits suck. I can't fall asleep without TV or some other distraction. Too much shit in my head. I wake up like five times a night. Haven't slept for more than a 2 hour stretch for a long time. Nicotine, caffeine, etc. addictions only make things worse.

Just too much shit in my head to rest peacefully.
Introvert problems I totally hate dealing with... Ugh.

I have to take melatonin and/or benadryl to make myself fall asleep. I get racing thoughts and will lie in bed for 1-2 hours without them. If I don't get 8-9 hours of sleep my life is miserable, and I'm not fond of naps.

As for what time I go to bed... usually between 10 and 2, sometimes as late as 7 on weekends.

If I should sleep longer than 6-7 hours I'm exhausted rather than rested, I think it's because my subconscious mind is overly active while I'm asleep.
I'm a light sleeper, I'm sometimes aware of my surroundings while I'm asleep but it feels like I'm dreaming.

6 hours is plenty of sleep for me.

This. Just, yea. This.

When stressed, the numbers get worse. There was an entire month where I averaged about 10 hours per week. Go a few days. Sleep two hours. Go another few days. Sleep two hours. Go another few days. Crash for six hours. Luckily, I had good friends that were awake at different parts of the day. They would take turns babysitting me. One would go to sleep, another was waking up and taking their shift.

These past few days I've been sleeping from 7:30pm-9:45am. Not sure how the fuck this even happened, either. Normally I'm awake during these hours.

My sister in law claims to suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter blues), I've heard that she sleeps all day & watches television all night.
I suggested that maybe she ought to look into whether some type of lighting therapy might help. If looks could kill I'd have been a corpse.
