Because INFJs are already the most super human, all around perfect Godly type. BUT those arguments are not enough, you have to seal the deal by also proclaiming they are misunderstood and shunned by society to add a ''victim'' component to it.

But the real answer to this question is an unhealthy SP type. They will break more eggs and piss off more people than anyone else throughout their lives. And no it's not as satisfying an answer as ''INxxs because they are too mystical and precious to be understood by society!!'' But it's a more logical analysis.

Note: I actually have no beef against INxx types, just the way they are perceived and painted on the internet by n00bs who don't understand this stuff.

You can be happy to have them as friends when they are talented. The main problem, sometimes, is their deconexion with things they have to. And sometimes, their negligence of details.

INTJs on the other hand, want others to perceive them as cold because they have a strong sense of vigilance and being Fi users they aren't into expressing emotions that aren't there.
I can only speak for myself, but I have never wanted others to perceive me as a cold person. Or a warm person for that matter. My rbf and not lying to save face is what makes others think I'm heartless.

INTJs are also pretty androgynous too.
Again, can't speak for my type, but can speak for myself and INTJs I've known irl and online. The male INTJs I've known aren't "macho" or super masculine, but aren't feminine by any means. With the female INTJs I've known, they aren't the super girly feminine type, but they aren't masculine either.

I would think XNTPs would be the least liked. Geared towards rebelling against the status quo, they challenge authority in a way that many find off-putting. Galileo, Darwin and Socrates were INTPs by all accounts, and they brought out-of-the-box thinking to societies not ready for it.

No types are as willing to flagrantly throw rules back in the face of authorities as are XNTPs. No other type is so detached from peer pressure, either. XNTPs believe whatever their gut tells them and take few social considerations into account.

Society changes so often that in each decade and in every location it can be very different. I have noticed that online many people talk about the societal norms of thirty years ago as still being the societal norms of today. I don't think they objectively understand how progressive the West is. In many places it may be easier to be an INFP now than an ESTJ who may be looked upon as old-fashioned and stuffy.

I understand why some people would say xNTPs for the least liked. I believe they are often the most undervalued. They question everything and that can cause them to make enemies of people on both sides of an issues. xSTPs do the same, but I think society excuses them more often because their usefulness is often more readily apparent. Everyone appreciates a good mechanic, to use the ISTP nickname, so he can get away with more. Whereas INTPs might be voted least likely to be appreciated for their contributions within their lifetime.

Intp is lovable for me. Infj also not bad.

Niweis, that is a distinguished title you are using as screen name :eek:h:

I like INTPs too, but I could see how they might be underappreciated when we consider they are often deep thinkers who don't always manifest their inventions and ideas. Was Copernicus the scientist who died in relative obscurity only for his contributions to science to be fully understood after his death? I'm uncertain of his type, but that reminds me of the INTPs' struggle. With Fe higher in someone's stack I believe a person will often have more of a direct impact on others during their lifetime.

Niweis?

This is based on the view that western society is very Te-Fi and Si-Ne.

So society would deem the order above as most liked, respected and useful. Whereas Se, Ni, Fe and Ti are all deemed at “too much” for society.

I agree that Te is more valued in society as compared to Ti (basically Mainstream vs non mainstream). I remember someone described Te as saying to a Ti person in the work place “you are not paid to think, so quit the thinking because that’s not what we do here”. That statement encapsulates Te so well. No shade, but Te doesn’t think, nor reason like Ti.

I would also say that extroverts tend to be more liked than introverts.

Fe vs Fi. I would say Fe can be warm in a very inclusive way they want everyone to [insert some sort of emotional expression], whereas Fi is warm in terms of forming and maintaining personal bonds. Hence why I say Fi is more valued in society as opposed to Fe because it works well with Te.

Fe is about freedom of expression, this creates a massive problem for Te because it stifles productivity [Te] and Fi because it causes drama and ruckus. Fi is about preserving emotional and ethical harmony, hence why people value this over Fe because “everyones happy”.
Why do you hate us INTJ s so much? What's so wrong about being different? May be it's because we see through your true self and reveal your true nature. People always hate the ones who are honest and loyal.

Contrary to popular belief, society isn't a single thing. A country isn't a single thing. It's all just a bunch of loosely related subgroups who happen to live in the same place.

The whole question really doesn't make sense. Do you mean liked by corporate standards? The average person on the street (if there is such a thing)? I could go on listing random subgroups for hours and you would get a different answer each time.
Society as a whole isn't a thing. We pretend it is, because it makes us feel like we're part of something, but humanity is just too varied to make any kind of statement on the subject.

INFP, INTP, INTJ.
Perhaps ISFP.
At times ISFJ, ISTJ, ISTP, INFJ
ESTJ, ENTJ in leading roles

ExxP most liked

In typing community ESFJ, ESTJ, ISTJ
For some reasons, everyone hates ISTJ, and every INxx they dislike is typed as one. UGH....

Do you live in San Francisco or one of the Canadian/Scandinavian/Dutch cities?

Suburbs and rural areas are horrible for INFP/INTP/INTJ and maybe ENFP too

I was quite shocked to see the lack of confidence in INFP here. I am just one, however in my experience I’m extremely well liked by most that truly know me. Perhaps it’s because I’m confident (maybe not typical) and it comes naturally when I want to connect with someone? I find myself as an introverted people person, my strength is in one on one interaction and I do love getting to know people, but I need to recharge. I have had people dislike me, but ultimately the few who have had trouble with me have been have been people who I had to reevaluate on just how healthy or secure they truly were to begin with. Maybe the real question is which types like each other more? Extraverts can come across as people pleasers, trying too hard and downright obnoxious at times. Sensors can be pretty dense. Judgers can be a little uptight. I’ve certainly had at least two INFJ friends who were super lovely never met one I disliked at that. Ultimately I end up liking almost everyone for some reason or other so maybe that’s why they like me back, I’m not picking at faults just pointing out everyone has them. So don’t forget to account for others perspectives too😁

What types do you think are generally liked and respected in society (as opposed to the MBTI community) and which are not so much?

I think extraverts tend to be liked more than introverts, people respect Te thinkers more than Ti thinkers (because they're more likely to "get shit done", make a lot of money, etc), and Fe users are seen as more warm and affable than Fi users. I would say that FJ types are the ones liked most by society and ExTJs are the most respected.

What do you think?
I know that being an N (espcially INxJ or xNTP) is like a status symbol on the internet, but in real life, you struggle as it's oriented for ESxJ's. You are forced to socialize and take responsibility for yourself. Also basic ESFJ bitches easily puke at the weird IxTP geeky kids and call them "weird".

Least liked — whatever type Socrates was.
