Unfortunately I have to agree with them here to an extent, because in a group there will be an awareness of what things can or can’t be said due to how it will influence others. Of course I’m looking at it from an Fi view which evaluates how what’s being said might effect each individual.

I can't say as I've ever gotten involved with someone who was my "ideal type." My most significant relationships with women have always been with ISxJs. Maybe as an ENTP I'm just looking for some stability?
Haha I would have to see the situation to properly evaluate it but if I do see a value inconsistency in general that I am definitely not on board with then it would get under my skin too. I am way more particular about values matching up in a relationship though, like if I try to reconcile what I believe to be important and it’s obvious to me that they don’t view it as important then I just check out cuz that’s pretty much where the connection is for me.
Mental stability or physical? You’ll get more mental stability in Ni dom but your Ti is gonna get squashed by INTJ, and unrightfully so since they often take things out of logical context. And that’s only one reason and in this specific pairing why I believe “golden” pairs aren’t ideal.
I have a theory
Male INTP -> INFJ
Female INTP -> ENTJ
But I've also seen ENFJ.
Conflicting pop psych sources wowee.... nothing but peak academia here.
All you need to know about anything is that @0.M.I.A.0 loves ISFJs lol
Well I did have an ENFP freind and we were very close. The trouble came when they adopted Kant logic. They started doing things like airing out everyone's dirty laundry and effectively outing every gay they could find. I personally felt they were being very intolerant.

I'm just going off of what I typically see in regards to golden pairs but I think the ideal match for each type regardless of gender is in fact ENFP-INTJ, INFP-ENTJ, etc.

I do get along with ENFPs generally but seriously, there are some out there who straight up give me the shits. I guess it might be the luck of the draw.
The one I was unfortunate enough to be with used to cry if I didn't feel like sex and put all the dishes into the sink of hot water only for me to have to pull the plug out of the cold gluggy water and utensils which started rusting because of it. So I took pleasure in making everything slightly askew and watch him fuss around trying to make it straight again. I joked with him that if he had OCD would actually do the fucking dishes instead of getting me to do them by stealth.
We argued for a day straight about whether Bobby McFerrin wrote Don't Worry Be Happy or Bob Marley. I told him that Marley was dead long before that song came out yet he continued to argue, undeterred. Symbolic of the relationshit.
Mine was faulty, do not recommend.

I honestly never heard the term until this thread. I went with what is stereotypically supposed to be the "perfect" match for INTJ.
I avoided this thread for a good while because I thought it was referring to testicles.
