My ex/friend is a 5w6 > 1w2 > 4w5 INTJ
I'm an 7w6 > 4w5 >9w8 ENFP.

we have many misunderstandings and are oversensitive to eachother. We're opposite ends of the spectrum, the extremes. He tends to be a judgmental, set in his ways, logical, avoidant, snoopy & never expresses his feelings, and I'm the complete.. opposite. Impratical, open minded, confrontational,& expressive. He never seems to understand when I talk or express myself, and I never seem to understand his stubborness. I always feel like I'm the one putting in effort, but I finally now realize that he's putting in effort as well, it's just not as apparent. It's maddening.
I believe our own individual pride will be this relationships downfall.

It's not to be fair to be biased according to psychology types, however - I'm kinda looking for answers and understanding.

What are your guys opinions on the pairing? Are we the type to clash?Any advice since we cant seem to let eachother go. I'm ready to throw my head against the wall.

Thanks in advance you guys!

Being complementary might have it's upsides : if there's something you don't like to do, he might like it, and vice versa.
For example : you might dislike doing the finances, and he might love it . He might dislike having to make though phonecalls, and you might love it.

You can even be each other's role model, showing you what to work on ( he might admire your bold nature, and you might admire his logical way of thinking ) . You can learn from each other.
