MICE! So shy so cute!
Agree, I've read quite a lot about animal symbolism and stuff, and rodents constantly come up to me as INFPesque. Bunnies, hares, rats and mice seem to be perfect INFP figures from what I've read

I think INFPs would match koala "bears". Koalas need a lot of space and prefer to be left alone. Plus, koalas enjoy metaphors and similes and they are attracted to sad things! taha..

Yeah, after some thinking I was like yeah something with a shell. A snail would have worked but I guess a turtle is even better :)

Some sort of animal that minds his own business, isn't overly aggressive and has a shell to retract too when the world becomes too harsh. I guess it's a bit idealistic too to just walk around with your home on your back :p but that's pretty free spirit and adventurous as well.

The snail is a wonderful creature. It is protected by a dull colorless shell, but on the inside there are vibrant indigo cave-like paintings signed by Jaythesnail. He does this to vent his frustrations, and gets immense satisfaction when he finishes his artwork.

The snail is gooey, has feelers on his head, and likes to take slow winding walks. He has no sense of awareness, and his travels usually take him somewhere he shouldn't be. He might wind up on a grumpy old man's porch, and be tossed away like a skipping stone four miles away!

The snail is very hard to coax from his protective shell. He can blend well into his surroundings, and only a keen eye can discover his hidden spot. He doesn't like being hidden for long, and enjoys searching for a beautiful girl snail that is less slimy than the others.

There is one last thing you should know about the snail! He loves devouring termites, and he considers them to be a great catastrophe plaguing wondrous trees. Another last thing, and that is the snail is very scrumptous. He takes a lot of pounding on his shell from hungry predators looking for a tasty snack.

@cherybranchs the hedgehog is a wonderful INFPesque animal indeed :D and also armadillos and porcupines (we continue with the theme of rodents haha)

These are calm and walk at their own pace and are rather clumsy. They're super curious and want to explore EVERYTHING, so they get hurt oooops. They're very well protected by their "armor", and when someone figures out how to flip them, their body is soft and tender and cute. If that's not INFP I don't know what is

Does this count?

YES! what about the Phoenix!! Can we huh, huh, can we be Phoenixes??! I've always loved this bird. Amazingly beautiful and full of color, but so untouchable. And THEN, it dies in flames and everyone thinks the thing is gone and beaten, but NO it regenerates and comes back to life renewed and strong! Thank you @refugee, I don't want to be a hedgehog anymore.

Fly high beautiful phoenix!! FLY! No one can touch you! You are powerful! You are rare! and oh my gosh, I'm such a geek!!!

A really chill dog, like the one I have now. She's sort of like a cat but, compared to most of the ones I've known, she's much less inclined to hurt you and is less distant. I like the idea of an animal that keeps to themselves and sort of lives their own life, sure - but I still want them to want to play fairly often.

I thought about a pig. I'm not sure I'd want them passed childhood though and I'd not be interested in killing them .-.

Well I only know one INFP extensively and that is @Mr. Meepers . and the only animal that comes to my mind that best fits him is the Giant Panda because he is cute and cuddly. He likes hugs and is playful and nice.

Exhibit A:

He would totally do a pose like this.

And Exhibit B:

I rest my case. hehehe
