People who sing, whistle, or hum the same stupid song every day in public. Actually, I don't like people who sing in public at all. I wish people would stop their noise pollution; just because they think they're good singers doesn't mean that everyone else does. I hate it hate it hate it.

..... I'm sorry ;__; I'm so guilty of this. I don't flat out belt out show tunes, but I definitely sing or hum to myself. (but mostly when I think no one can hear me)

Wow, I love this thread. We truly are opposites.

My Pet Peeves.

1. lazyness
2. people who only look at the details and not the big picture
3. people who hate all rules simply because they're rules and have no reason to disagree other than their own selfishness.

Also, I like arrogance in people along with it in myself.

Cheers! :D

Pet peeves (in no particular order):
bad grammar annoys me, especially these errors: "less people," "between you and I," "could you give that to John and I?" It sounds like off key singing to my ears.

loud, shrill, nasal voices. Oh. ewwwww.

off key singing.

out of tune instruments.

pro war people who start talking about having wars to "protect our freedom" but then won't say which freedom is being protected.

double breasted polyester and various types of man made materials that feel like... yuck!!!

bossy control freaks, especially those who use the aforementioned loud, shrill, nasal voices.

people who say, "you know what I mean?" all of the time. NO!!! I don't know what you mean! Why don't you just tell me!!!!

greedy people.

people who are mean to little kids.

drive throughs at fast food places. Come on, lazy people, get out of your cars.

Bad, dangerous drivers.

overcooked fish.

smelly fast food restaurants.

litter.

bad grammar in written form. Sentences beginning with a numeral. "Alot" and "alright" are not words!!! Sentence fragments, like this. OK, that doesn't bother me too much. I never cared for split infinitives but that doesn't bother me as much as it did in the past.

living in a country that has vast stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction while, at the same time, its leaders yell about other countries that are plotting to build weapons of mass destruction, irritates me. OK. Well, maybe I just get annoyed by hypocrites.

I could go on and on...

- people who think they can tell me what to do/how to live my life
- cockiness
- attention seekers
- judgmental/close-minded people
- people who claim to be "know-it-alls" when they're actually insufferably stupid
- people with bad grammar
- people who dwell on things
- people who don't give you their full attention/interrupt when you're talking

Tbh? People who do things for attention. Even if that just means that you dress a certain way in order to force people to have some opinion about you. Or actually going out and making a scene in public. That "look at me" mentality just drives me crazy. You don't know if the person next to you just lost someone or what, but you don't care as long as you're getting noticed. I especially see this in other millennials.

Everyone is living their own life, they don't need to be forced into someone else's somehow. I just think more people should attempt to live for themselves and stop relying on validation.

Having my space invaded can make my skin crawl. I have a solitary space where I go sit on top of a small mountain and it takes a bit of a climb to get there. The last time I was there a group of 6+ large, pushy-feeling people peeked around the corner like they were ready to come my way and squish me. I said loudly "the trail ends here where I am" and then they just stood there forever. It bothered me to the extreme.

I also can feel impatient with certain kinds of prissy requirements. It seems like interacting with most humans involves memorizing all their "requirements" like no crusts on bread, or laundry done only in warm water, or they can't ever eat this, or must have this specific brand, or the towels have to be folded exactly, or you have to practically stop the car before turning or going over a bump, etc. I tend to think in approximations and can deal with a range of things, so that exacting, dainty, stubborn way really wears me down. I don't even have those kinds of specific preferences. When an entire group starts in with their conflicting requirements, then I feel almost dizzy and just want to run away.

When people keep doing or saying things they know make me uncomfortable... lookin at you, ISTP’s.
