i think he's INFP. he wouldn't be willing to change his personality to fit into a group i don't think. he seems very individualistic, passionate, shy, hermit-like, not very rational in the way INFJs can be... he's pure passion i think

I would think his acting method is more judger-oriented with all his pre-planning. He doesn't seem like an improviser. When he takes a role he becomes a workaholic and has a lot of discipline. I see him as a judger.

Sublime actor.

Do not know much about his life though...

He could be all of the persona's of his method acting combined!

He is not an INFJ. I think he is a Fi dom. I have a theory that INFJ make shitty actors. Like Keanu Reeves.

Reeves has way more Fe. He goes along with the interviewer more. He moves with her.

That's a solid theory. Unless you count Al Pacino. Or Tilde Swinton. Or Rooney Mara. Or Adrien Brody. Actually on second thought, that theory's bullshit!

Seriously though, looking at his process you see that he works from a very intellectual standpoint, understanding his character, building to an inner-vision, and then bringing that out. That's more INFJ. He's also got the perfectionism, and one could put forward the extreme physical lengths he goes to in order to find a character as inferior-Se. INFP actors are more the types to invent backstories and write diaries for their characters, creating this deep emotional well from which to draw; think of Heath Ledger's work as the Joker for an example. Also, in that interview you shared, one senses a certain level of discomfort (press junkets are really awful things), whereas if you look at this interview with Oprah, who in true ENFJ fashion, is very good at putting her interviewees at ease, he's much more open, and therefore displays much more Fe.

I take it Celebrity Types is gospel to you. Lewis is Fi. Swinton is not an INFJ either.

INFP are perfectionists too. So are INTJ, ISTP and ISFP.

Jerry Seinfeld is an ENFJ. Another shitty actor.

Celebrity Type is known to change if needed. For example eminem -> istp.

I think Lewis is infj. J type. But it hangs in the balance still.
The admin at celebritytypes do not like my attitude. lol. I agree they are pretty good and do change. I am arguing with them about Hitler now. That one is so wrong. Hitler has so much Te and Fi.

Oh and even though the novel is much more philosophical and such it is definitely worthwhile to watch The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Lewis and Binoche are great in this one!
