What do you guys think?

Peter's Ne and Se are abundant in his portrayal, I think. Why is he not an iNtuitive when he frequently devises peculiar, original schemes and frequently connects incidents that are irrelevant to each other? It is odd to think that his plans need intelligence or sophistication to be classified as an an N's scheme.

It would be easy for me to accept Peter as ENFP if the cognitive process order had Fe instead of Fi as the auxiliary process. I think his Te is used foolishly to arrange the environment for his unusual schemes that inevitably fail for being illogial.

Family Guy MBTI

I haven't been on PerC for very long but I've not once seen a thread on typing Family Guy characters. Here are my guesses...

Peter: ESFP
Lois: ESTP
Stewie: INTJ in old episodes
Brian: ISFP
Chris: ESFP(though he is the least funny)

Mr. Pewterschmidt: ESTJ
Mrs. Pewterschmidt: ISFJ

Cleveland: ISTP
Quagmire: ESTP
Joe: ISTP

Mayor West: ESTJ
Herbert: ESFJ
Death: ISTP

Meg: ISFJ(I mentioned her last hahaha)

If there were any I missed feel free to type them yourself. Also: does anybody disagree?

Family Guy

I'm sure this has been done before but I don't really care :3 I love this show so much!

Peter: retarded ENFP (I thought ESFP at first but no, he's always trying to find his identity, he's got a lot of idealistic viewpoints, and his whole "This reminds me of the time..." just SCREAMS N.)

Brian: logical INFP

Chris: slightly retarded ISFP

Meg: unpopular ESFJ or ESFP

Lois: maybe ENFJ?

Stewie: flamboyant ENTJ

Lois is a definite ENFJ I think. I might do some of the minor characters later. Adam West, Herbert, Carter, those people.

Peter: ExFP (having idealistic viewpoints and being reminded of something is not an N trait... most of his "ideals" are not very thought out too. however, he does have a very active imagination so perhaps he is an N..)
Brian: INFP
Christ: ISTP
Meg: ESFP
Lois: ENFJ
Stewie: INTJ (he is not an E... he hates almost everyone).

I think Brian was an INTP during the first 6 seasons since he didn't seem too emotional during those seasons. But then Seth MacFarlene decided to turn Brian into an Atheist and bleeding-heart liberal and started to use him to express his beliefs when season 7 started, so because of that, Brian is an INFP now.

I don't know about Lois being a J... She did engage in P-ish activities such as developing a huge addiction to gambling to the point where she made Peter lose his car, doing drugs, experimenting with people of both sexes, and starring in a porno. The only thing about her that can make her a J is that she follows the "good mother" stereotype.

The show itself is very Ne, which may cause people to type Peter as Ne...personally I think he's ESFP, but that may just be me not wanting him in the ENFP camp.

As for Adam West, he's totally welcome. ENFP!

Lois: ENFJ, maybe ESFJ?

Brian: I used to think INTP, but maybe INFP

Chris: ISFP

Meg: ESFJ

Stewie: His character has undergone some changes. He started out INTJ. ENTJ now, maybe, but I'm not sure.

i know most don't want to claim Peter as an ENFP (lmao) but i can totally relate to him in this video~ lol. the way he just comes up with shit out of the ying-yang and then physically & emotionally acts them out in a way that scares people is totally me! lmao.

100% the retarded version of an ENFP! once he feels a certain way about something he doesnt change his mind about it (Fi?). he doesn't tolerate or act on anything that doesn't line up with his values, unless he changes those views himself. whenever he does something spontaneous it's always connected to him being inspired by something?! he always does what Peter wants to do, even if Louis doesn't like it :p

inborn rule-breaker!

I completely agree with all of these. The only thing I think -might- be wrong is Lois' dad's variant stacking. Sure he's not Sp/Sx?

#32 ·
I'm not sure if I posted here before but I think Meg is an ISFJ (Si and Fe), Peter is ESFP, Stewie an INTJ, Brian is INTP, Chris is ISFP, and I'm guessing Louis might be ESTP?

LOL, it is.... most of the family lead characters are Ps but not all of them. Meg is probably a J (xSFJ) and that may be some of the reason she is an outcast in the family (and the show doesn't even care enough about her to give enough info to type her well). Stewie is probably also a J, and that may be why he doesn't care much for the open craziness of the rest of the family, except for Brian. I think Stewie is ENTJ, but he could be INTJ too... it's hard to tell with how his character has developed over the seasons.

Brian is likely INTP, Lois is some sort of xSxP, Chris is ISFP, and Peter is.... well it's hard to say what he is but he is sort of a high-E pure Ne type. It's a stretch to call him ENFP or ENTP because he lacks either and any kind of judgement  (I haven't even noticed Fe or Te from him) Connection, inference, and attempting the impossible in all its crazy purity...

he's not ENFP because he's not Fi/Te. Peter is constantly spouting Ti-ish word play and periodically resorts to a satirized form of Fe that allows him to get away with more than he otherwise would have. ENFPs are more passionate and display more authentic feelings (he doesn't display a single real emotion in the entire series)
