Peter: ENTP. An exaggeration of a narcissistic ENTP in an Ne-Fe loop. Verging on impossible to type, because no real life person is like Peter.

Lois: ISFJ. Fe is obvious, the rest is more just a guess. She gets frustrated when she feels unappreciated, which is normal of ISFJ's, she doesn't seem to have a large circle of friends, and spends lots of time alone. She has a streak of cattyness towards Meg, that could be typical of immature xSFJ's.

Stewy: ENTJ. Pretty obvious here.

Brian: IxTP, probably INTP.

Chris: ISFP

Meg: ISTJ?

Quagmire: ExFP, probably ESFP.

Stewie:INTP (He also has a childlike attachment to his family, especially Brian. Despite trying to murder Lois in the first couple of seasons, he really does love his family in a messed up way which shows inferior Fe.
Brian:INTJ
(That's why these two make such a good team)
Meg:ISFP
Lois:ISFP (Most well-developed SFP Ni user)
Chris: A really dumb ISFP
Peter:A really, really stupid ESTP

Peter: ENTP...a very narcissistic and stupid ENTP. (He has HIGH Ne)
Lois: ESFP
Meg: ISFJ (?)
Chris: Very dumb ISFP
Stewie: INTJ...though in later seasons he seems more ENTP
Brian: INTP
Quagmire: ESTP
Cleavland: ISFP
Honestly, all of the characters with the exception of Meg and Brian (being the closest ones to sane and realistic), go through many different personality types on the show, especially Peter.
I could see Peter as being a dumb ENTP, considering how quickly he can come up with random (despite being nonsensical ideas). However, he has very strong Se, and I rarely see him use Si. I'd still say ESFP or ESTP with well developed inferior Ni.
Anyway, really? I always thought Stewie was more Ne-aux and Brian was more Ni-aux. Stewie seems to use Ne way more than Brian. Brian seems to uses Ni a lot more. Stewie first tries untested ideas and theories for his experiments and inventions, and then repeats the ones that worked out for him in the past (Ne-Si). Brian writes and organizes ideas for others based on what he personally feels is right and important (Ni-Te-Fi). Additionally, Brian is prone to dangerously overindulging himself in sensate activities when he is feeling depressed, like smoking, drinking, and becoming prone to illegal drug use and addiction (Se-inferior). Stewie is rarely prone to dangerous Se habits, unlike Brian.

Peter Griffin - ENFP
Lois Griffin - ESFJ
Chris Griffin - ESFP
Meg Griffin - ESFP
Stewie Griffin - INTJ
Brian Griffin - INTP
Glenn Quagmire - ESTP

@technokitty95

I think Chris is an introvert, seems to have quite weighty matters under that thick skin. I don't think we really get to know Chris. Also, and don't take offense from this, but ISFPs tend to be oedipal and masturbatory. Chris, while a teenager, expresses this at length. I imagine he has quite the deep internal experience (not to say ESFPs cannot).

Meg- ESFP? I would say she's an ISxJ with a fetish for Ne. Can you elaborate on how you came to ESFP?

Brian- T? Could you say more? I see him as the effete feeler, who detachedly views his own values as too good, ethereal, for this world.

thanks!

I've seen Brian typed as an INFP and Peter as an ENTP. I think that Brian is an INFP because he seems like a feeler who hides his feelings due to Fi and he is also a writer which is a known INFP trait. I mean other types can be writers too but INFPs are the most potential.

Peter - ESTP
Stewie - INTJ
Meg and Chris - ISFP
Brian - INTP

Most of the characters have multiple personalities, because it's a cartoon. Some are just the default

Peter - ENFP. His Tertiary Te is vocally strong at times and practically awful at all times. Type 7w6. His enthusiasm is very child-like.
Lois - ISxJ Started off Fe, but the show makes her Te when convenient.
Bryan - INTP ---> ENFP. Bryan was later written as an insufferable Ne+Fi type so that Macfarlane could make fun of those types of people. His default is INTP, though.
Quagmire - ESTP 7w8.
Stewie - A psychopath that flutters between ENTP and ENTJ, but mostly the latter. 8w7 or 3w2, depending on episode.
Joe - ISTJ with strong Fi. I'd 6w7 2w3 8w9. He definitely acts on shame and anger, but values loyalty most.
Cleveland - ISFJ most of the time
Chris - xxFP. Some shows he's more introverted than others and sometimes he's intuitive.
Meg - xxFx She is whatever feeler type the writers want to mock. At her default, I'd guess ISFP.
Carter - He's an ESTJ caricature.
Jerome - ISTP

In my opinion, Brian is a clear ISFP. I say this because he has a lot of morals that he will defend - he's a libertarian and hates Rush Limbaugh for going against his values. He has extroverted sensing since, let's face it, he loves his alcohol and sex. In the 100th episode special he also talks to Stewie about wanting to live in the moment which seems very aux-Se that is perhaps not developped as much as he'd like.

All types of people love alcohol and sex. As far as feeling like he needs to "live in the moment" that's more an Fi mood. Also, I'd say he's a type 1 Enneagram so he would aspire to include some type 7 enthusiast traits.

Peter: ESTP (portrays a "bully" attitude, isn't the most educated in the world, but doesn't make him a feeler because I recall an episode where he has to go to some kind of camp to understand sympathy towards women)
Lois: ENFJ (a responsible, yet carefree attitude. She takes parenting quite serious when need be)
Meg: ENFP (is extroverted by trying to fit in with a crowd constantly)
Chris: ISFP (the artist episode. He also portrays the humor of an ISFP)
Stewie: INTJ (stereotypical evil genius gimmick)
Brian: INTP (intelligent and creative at the same time)
Quagmire: ESFJ (quite the sociable character and pretty organized, hence the J)
Cleveland: INFP (very laid back, doesn't say much, has a wacky sense of humor)
Loretta: ISFJ
Cleveland Jr.: ESFP
Joe: ISTJ (a lot of police officers are this type, he's no exception)
Bonnie: INFJ
Herbert: ESFJ
Mort: INTP
Muriel: INTP
Neil: ENTP
Tom Tucker: ENTJ
Diane Simmons: ESTJ
Ollie Williams: ENTP
Tricia Takanawa: INFP
Francis (Peter's non-biological father): ESTJ (bossy behavior)
Carter (Lois' father): ENTJ
Barbara (Lois' mother): INFJ
Mr. Weed (Peter's first boss): ENTJ
Death: ENTP
Connie D'Amico: ESTP
Adam West: ESFP
James Woods: ENTP
Jillian (one of Brian's girlfriends): ESFP
Rupert: ISTP

Peter - ENTP
Lois - ESFP
Brian - INTP (Based on Seth Macfarlane himself, so I think it's plausible Seth is also an INTP)
Meg - ISFJ
Chris - ISFP
Stewie - INTJ
Quagmire - ESTP
Joe - ESTJ
Cleveland - ISTJ

Course these are all cartoon characters in a show with a ton of surreal non sequiturs even by cartoon standards, so they shift a lot. (i.e. Sometimes Peter is a complete retard, other times he's surprisingly cunning. Sometimes Stewie is harmless and flamboyant, sometimes he's an intense evil genius. etc.) But those are who I think they are more often than not.

Peter: ESFP
Lois: ExFJ
Brian: INTP? Maybe INFJ
Stewie: INTJ
Chris: ISFP
Meg: ESFJ?
Cleveland: ISFJ
Joe: ESTJ
Quagmire: ESTP
Mayor Adam West: ENFP
Mort: ISFJ?
Carter (Lois's dad): ISTJ
Death: ISTP
Tom Tucker: ENTP

I change my mind:

Peter: ENTP
Lois: ENFJ
Brian: INTP in earlier seasons, but later turned into an INFP
Stewie: INTJ
Meg: ESFJ
Chris: ISFP
Cleveland: ISFJ
Quagmire: ESTP
Joe: ESTJ
Mayor Adam West: ENFP
Mort: ISFJ?
Carter (Lois's dad): ISTJ
Death: ISTP
Tom Tucker: ENTx
Francis (Peter's non-biological father): xSTJ
