I actually would say ISTP and not my own type, because they have wild Se energy, but it's controlled by Ti, which is seen as the "technique" function.

It must be so technical ... It takes so much thought before. I can hardly imagine an ISTP doing that shit. But yeah that can be nice with your girl friend.

In fact every choreography is not specially SP. Then it's not improvisation but repetition. JLO is ESFJ for example ...
With ISTP, I meant controlling the ass muscles, not creativity.

My type, ISFJ (although you make a good case for ISTP). ISFJ's have excellent control over their own bodies and are very in tune with our own physicality. But most would be too bashful to actually do it.

 I just imagined an ISFJ wearing an extremely modest handmade Christmas sweater... with a thong.

I wish you had started this thread over in INFJ land, where everyone is so very fond of twerking.

Anyway, I am inclined to agree with you. The pop stars who twerk almost always strike me as ISTP: Iggy Azalea, Cardi B, etc....

@Monadnock Pray tell, what does twerking "empathically" look like? Is it even visible? Are you sure you didn't mean "pathetically"?

I think isfp, but I haven't done extensive studies or anything. I can confirm its sure as hell not entps as we're clumsy pirates. I have done extensive studies on this to make sure it's not just me.

Most likely to? Stereotypical ESFP meme  Best at? Whatever type puts in the effort + *why* they feel compelled to put in the effort and practice is important too. My type's taking the lead on this poll yet when I try it looks like I'm tryna break my back :winky:

Huh? @Ecchi - why do you think my comment was directed at you? It was just a general question and laugh at the Infj vote(s) - just because I find the thought of Infjs twerking funny.

As for bandwagoning, I commented 'Esfp' before voting and reading the entire thread. Not sure where that comment comes in either.

Eh frankly this seems way more connected to age to me than type

The people I know under 25 seem more prone to it

Me lets them wobble their asses on the dance floor, and then goes and break dances around them.

The ISFP I know twerks more than even most others though

I seriously do not give a shit if this comment ages me, I do not fricken get twerking. Just like aesthetically speaking, its not really dancing. Its humping air in public. While I would say twerking takes 'skill' and control, I would not call it dancing. Its fucking the air in public. Just saying.

Now this chick she is good, she mixes it with actual fricken skilled dancing
But most twerks are not skilled at dancing like this chick IMO

Same. Dancing to me is synching with music. Twerking is a skill that doesn't really require adapting to any specific song as the song. Maybe this ages me too. haha. But I lived in a time where you danced on the bar, and got compliments on well you moved to IT (music) lol.

I didn't buy into the ESFP being performers/entertainers stereotype before, because I wasn't good at detecting ESFP in action. I thought auxiliary Fi seriously held them back from doing things that weren't "moral" to them, but I'm better at detecting ESFP now, and more and more I'm finding that the entertainer thing is them as I type more of them.

Dominant Se is very overriding. But because of this it also means that ESTP continues to be undersold in match ups against ESFP.
