I got quite turned on by all the sexy libraries posted in the INFP porn thread and it led to this thread...

Post some of your favorite books (fiction or non-fiction) (just a pic of the cover will do) - preferably books you think other INFPs will enjoy (INFP porn) - GO!

(a good place to find the cover pictures is the goodreads.com website...locate your book and hover over the thumbnail of the book cover and select the 'enlarge cover' option and copy the image url of the image)

Yooooo, books! I haven't read any of the ones you've listed, sorry, but I'm only young. I should write them down for later.

I guess I'll post my favourite young adult fiction trilogy, because everyone, especially INFPs I think, should read it. It's set in a world where everyone can hear your thoughts. It gets pretty serious and freaky. It's not quite Jung or Freud, haha, but younger readers, enjoy.

Outside of books on psychology, existentialism, religion etc I really like Haruki Murakami's books. Especially Kafka on the Shore and Wind Up Bird Chronicle.

Steppenwolf and Demian by Herman Hesse are also favorites.

I enjoy the following:

"How to Run a Country"
"Art of War"
"The Analects"
"Dao De Jing"
"The Republic"
"Leaves of Grass"

I could go on, but I won't :)! Those are great reads and have helped give me great insight into the world and all its treasures.

I like such a variety of topics I can't even think...
But I've been enjoying Patrick Rothfuss's saga a lot, ok this is an understatement, I'm obsessed!!! The only yucky thing is how he writes/treats female characters, it's disgusting that so many modern male authors are incapable of writing females that are as intricate as the males they write. But seriously, these books are incredible! I'm currently reading the 2nd installment, and from what I know the 3rd one is not even written yet (?)

Neil Gaiman.
He seems quite popular with infps.

Dystopian(ish) stuff :D These two are my favourites!~
I love dystopian stuff *thumbs up". I have a few dystopian classiscs such as Aldous Huxleys Brave New World, George Orwells 1984 and Kafkas The Trial.

Its seems we share similar tastes, gonna look up Haruki Murakami. I have Steppenwolf and Demian in my collection.

I warn you, though, they can be explicit at times, but if you want romance with a deeper meaning and like magical realism, you'll like this.

I really liked Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden and Portrait in Sepia by Isabel Allende. Nothing can beat Stephen King or Neil Gaiman (The Shining and American Gods respectively), but I swear my favorite book is Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones.

Stephen King book, anything that has to do w/ vampires, no romance crap, I like books that teach new languages, music books to learn more on playing the piano, and paranormal stuff.
