I just realized that I forgot "S.F.", so feel free to comment on that nickname. I would call it "S.F." if I am using sign language, but otherwise I generally call it "Frisco" (I recently learnt that it's not the only place with that same nickname however), or I'll just call it "San Francisco". I've personally heard lots of people call it "San Fran", but I've heard some of the other nicknames as well.

 

You forgot "Greater Silicon Valley".

I am not so familair with all those pet names for it.

 

I live in the bay and i never heard people call it "Baghdad by the bay" "the city the knows how" or "Shaky Town". Honestly the first two sound stupid lol.

I usually call it SF, the city, or sco because its short. Sometimes San Francisco, especially if I'm referring it to somebody that's not from the area.

I've heard my hunters point friends call it "Sco" or "Sucka Free" city.

You called N.Y.C. "L.A. East", so wouldn't L.A. be the N.Y.C. of the west?

 

I have heard it been called The Paris Of The West and I really like it. I was playing a country called the Pacific States of America in a mod called Kaiserreich, I had an option to decide where to move my capital and one was San Fran which they called The Paris Of The West.
