This achievement-oriented, hard-driven type has great initiative and moves readily into positions of authority. They believe in working with and through the system and in advancing upward through hard work. They are unlikely to take risks, and their leadership style is likely to be seen as no-nonsense and instrumental. They are described by others as well-read, tense, and reserved.

SELF-CENTERED TYPE (Low A, Low C)
Self-Centered Types are indifferent to both conventional rules and the feelings of others, acting instead on their own self-interest. UNEMOTIONAL TYPE (Low A, Low N)
Unemotional Types--whether male or female--are stereotypically masculine. Regarding emotions as a sign of weakness, they see themselves as strong, stable, and unaffected by emotions. They are described by others as complex, changeable, worried, depressed, tense, impatient, moody, anxious, irritable, nervous, quitting, unenergetic, unambitious, introverted, cold, unreliable, self-centered, negligent, and stubborn.

TOLERANT TYPE (High A, High O)
Tolerant Types are open to, and accepting of, differences in other people. They care about the feelings of others and tend to take their opinions into account when making decisions. Their social skills are reasonably well-developed and they normally relate well to others in both co-worker and supervisory roles. They are described by others with such terms as good-natured, empathic, genial, tactful, diplomatic, calm, and poised.

GULLIBLE TYPE (High A, Low O)
Gullible Types follow the crowd rather than thinking for themselves. They are described by others with such terms as simple, down-to-earth, dependent, easy-going, and servile.

INDIVIDUALISTIC TYPE (Low A, High O)
Individualistic types consider themselves to be unique and more intelligent than most people around them. In extreme cases they might be regarded as eccentric, but in most cases they are perceived by others as complex, well-read, imaginative, and industrious.

NARROW-MINDED TYPE (Low A, Low O)
Narrow-minded Types are independent, self-contained, and openly willing to express annoyance with others. Others may find this difficult to deal with. They tend to be intolerant of persons who are different from them, and, in extreme cases, may be prejudiced or bigoted. They are describe by others with such terms as irritable, self-centered, anxious, callous, tactless, and curt. Their brusqueness may be relatively unimportant to persons employed in menial or technical work, but may tend to limit performance in supervisory roles and in relations with others.

PERSISTENT TYPE (High C, Low N)
Persistent Types are hard-working, stable individuals who perform well in structured, rule-governed environments. They are described by others as rule-abiding, composed, persevering, conscientious, trustworthy, cooperative, traditional, predictable, simple, and down- to-earth.

FUSSY TYPES (High C, High N)
Fussy Types are perfectionists who crave structure and order but who never seem to be able to achieve the order and predictability they desire. Their own emotional instability fosters a self-defeating pattern. They are described by others with terms such as particular, well-read, shy, and introverted.

CAREFREE TYPE (Low C, Low N)
Carefree Types are folksy, simple, happy-go-lucky persons. They are unconcerned about rules, schedules, and routines, but are not actively antisocial or hostile to authority. They are described by others with terms such as informal, self-assured, extraverted, and unlettered.

SCATTERED TYPE (Low C, High N)
Scattered Types show emotional instability that affects both their thinking and their social relationships. Internally they are inconsistent, erratic and forgetful; in groups they can be impulsive, nosy, gossipy, and self-indulgent. On the job, their unpredictability may annoy co-workers and supervisors. Others describe them as unorthodox, changeable, complex, imaginative, rule-avoiding, moody, quitting, negligent, unreliable, stubborn, self-centered, and unreflective.

CULTURED TYPE (High C, High O)
Cultured Types are imaginative and resourceful in their thinking but conforming and traditional in their behavior. They use their intellectual skills to contribute to the common good. They may have a dignified, refined, and somewhat reserved air about them. Their perceptive and analytical abilities allow them to see through complex issues rapidly and accurately, allowing them to find quickly the most effective means of achieving desired ends. They are successful perfectionists, well suited for work that requires close concentration, self-control, and attention to detail. Others describe them as rule- abiding, persevering, learned, well-read, empathic, trustworthy, industrious, leaderlike, traditional, silent, and reserved.

CONVENTIONAL TYPE (High C, Low O)
Conventional types are tradition-oriented persons who always "go by the book" rather than improvising, innovating, or thinking for themselves. They are quite responsible and can be relied on to follow directions and get the job done. They are described by others as agreeable, simple, and down-to-earth.

FANCIFUL/IMAGINATIVE TYPE (Low C, High O)
Fanciful/Imaginative Types are unconventional nonconformists who pride themselves on being different from others. They are not so much openly antisocial and disruptive in their behavior as they are fanciful, impractical, and unconcerned about the general welfare of others. They are described by others as complex, imaginative, and critical.

IMMATURE TYPE (Low C, Low O)
Immature Types have a history of problems with self-discipline and self-control. As young students they were likely to be restless and unable to concentrate in the classroom, and therefore performed poorly. As adults they are therefore regarded as rough and uncouth as well as impulsive. They like thrills, adventure and action and would find working behind a desk to be frustrating and boring. They are described by others as unorthodox, talkative, outgoing, rule-avoiding, quitting, unlearned, unlettered, self-centered, and unreliable.

CLEAR-THINKING TYPE (Low N, High O)
Clear-thinking types are well-adjusted, intelligent individuals. They approach problems in a nonplused, matter-of-fact way, and feel confident about their ability to solve problems. They are described by others with such terms as intelligent, poised, forward-looking, innovative, ingenious, persevering, and enterprising.

DOWN-TO-EARTH TYPE (Low N, Low O)
Down-To-Earth types avoid anxiety by not thinking and reflecting on things very often. They focus on what is happening in their own local area, and adhere to the values and ways of thinking that are typical for their locality. Their neighbors probably regard them as down-to-earth and full of common sense, but outside of their local area they may be regarded as unreflective, unsophisticated, imperceptive, and provincial.

SENSITIVE TYPE (High N, High O)
Sensitive types are very bright but emotionally sensitive. They pay attention to, and are strongly affected by, things that happen in the world around them. They open themselves to their environment; consequently they enjoy many positive sensory experiences, but on the other hand they are vulnerable to having their feelings hurt. They are described by others as complex and imaginative.

MUDDLED TYPE (High N, Low O)
Muddled types tend to be anxious about things that lie beyond their limited scope of understanding. They protect themselves by living in the past and showing contempt for novel or foreign ideas They are described by others as irritable, anxious, nervous, reminiscent, apathetic, unambitious, self-centered, unreliable, and negligent.

First you take this quick test, it's only thirty questions:
truity.com/test/big-five-personality-test

You'll get a score for these:
Openness
Conscienciousness
Extraversion
Agreeableness
Neuroticism

Lets say a person's score is:
O 85
C 45
E 15
A 65
N 55

Take your two values that deviate the most from 50. In the example above that is high openness and low extraversion, so your result is then the bookwormish type.

They believe in working with and through the system and in advancing upward through hard work. They are unlikely to take risks, and their leadership style is likely to be seen as no-nonsense and instrumental. They are described by others as well-read, tense, and reserved.

You Are Moderately Open to Experience
Your score for openness was 72.5%. This is in the moderate range.
Openness describes a person’s tendency to think in abstract, complex ways. High scorers tend to be creative, adventurous, and intellectual. They enjoy playing with ideas and discovering novel experiences. Low scorers tend to be practical, conventional, and focused on the concrete. They tend to avoid the unknown and follow traditional ways.

Openness is strongly related to a person’s interest in art and culture. People who are high in openness tend to enjoy the arts and seek out unusual, complex forms of self-expression. People who are low in openness are often suspicious of the arts and prefer to focus on more practical pursuits.

Because your score is in the midrange, it is likely that you do not stand out as either a particularly imaginative, nor a particularly conservative person. You probably do not consider yourself to be particularly creative or unconventional. You probably also do not appear especially conservative or narrow in your interests.

You Are Low in Conscientiousness
Your score for conscientiousness was low, at 50%.

Conscientiousness describes a person’s ability to exercise self-discipline and control in order to pursue their goals. High scorers are organized and determined, and are able to forego immediate gratification for the sake of long-term achievement. Low scorers are impulsive and easily sidetracked.

People who are low in Conscientiousness are usually:

Impulsive
Disorganized
Spontaneous
Carefree
People who are low in Conscientiousness are more likely to develop addictions of all kinds, as they have trouble resisting the impulse to engage in pleasurable activities. They also have more disorganized homes and offices. On the other hand, they tend to be more flexible and spontaneous, and do well in unpredictable environments where they must respond to constantly changing circumstances.

You Are Moderately Extraverted
Your score for Extraversion was moderate, at 52.5%.

Extraversion describes a person’s inclination to seek stimulation from the outside world, especially in the form of attention from other people. Extraverts engage actively with others to earn friendship, admiration, power, status, excitement, and romance. Introverts, on the other hand, conserve their energy, and do not work as hard to earn these social rewards.

Extraversion seems to be related to the emotional payoff that a person gets from achieving a goal. While everyone experiences victories in life, it seems that extroverts are especially thrilled by these victories, especially when they earn the attention of others. Getting a promotion, finding a new romance, or winning an award are all likely to bring an extrovert great joy.

In contrast, introverts do not experience as much of a “high” from social achievements. Thus, they don’t make as much effort to seek them out. Introverts tend to be more content with simple, quiet lives, and rarely seek attention from others.

Your mid-range score on this dimension indicates that you are fairly average in your motivation to seek out social rewards. You probably have some desire for admiration, influence, and prestige, but you can also be content when you’re not winning recognition from others.

You Are Moderate in Agreeableness
Your score for Agreeableness was moderate, at 65%.

Agreeableness describes a person’s tendency to put others’ needs ahead of their own, and to cooperate rather than compete with others. People who are high in Agreeableness experience a great deal of empathy and tend to get pleasure out of serving and taking care of others. They are usually trusting and forgiving.

People who are low in Agreeableness tend to experience less empathy and put their own concerns ahead of others. Low scorers are often described as hostile, competitive, and antagonistic. They tend to have more conflictual relationships and often fall out with people.

Your moderate score in Agreeableness indicates that you are fairly typical in the degree to which you balance your own interests with the interests of others. You are probably willing to sacrifice yourself for others some of the time, but you also watch out for yourself quite a bit.

You Are High in Neuroticism
Your score for Neuroticism was high, at 62.5%.

Neuroticism describes a person’s tendency to experience negative emotions, including fear, sadness, anxiety, guilt, and shame. While everyone experiences these emotions from time to time, people high in Neuroticism seem especially prone to them.

High Neuroticism scorers seem to react more strongly to situations and events that have the potential to provoke negative emotions. For instance, they would be more likely to feel threatened by a stranger passing on the street, or to interpret a comment from a colleague as an insult. High Neuroticism people have emotional systems that are on high alert, looking for danger and peril at every turn.

People high in Neuroticism are also more likely to doubt themselves and their abilities. They often feel personally responsible for their own bad luck, and feel a sense of shame when things don’t turn out the way they’d like.

While Neuroticism is not generally thought of as an asset, there are positive points. People high in Neuroticism are unlikely to overlook the perils of life, and tend to be realistic about the problems and limitations in the world. There is also some evidence that Neuroticism can push people to higher levels of achievement, provided they are generally well-adjusted. It seems the fear of failure can provide an important source of motivation.

As of now I believe myself to be an ISFP. However the result from this test has led me to be the Sensitive Type which consist of the following list : ENTJ, ENTP, INTJ, INTP, ENFJ, ENFP, INFJ ; INFP. I am sure that I am a Perceiver, and definitely not a Thinker. Therefore I've narrowed the list down to ENFP and INFP. Either one of both could be my true MBTI. The problem lies in my moderate preferences for I/E and S/N as you can see from the result I've posted. Even though I am moderately Extroverted, I've decided to settle upon being an Introvert. I am ambivalent towards S/N but I've read somewhere that ENFPs can be in tune with their physical needs as they mature like being involved in sports; etc..
So.. yeah. I am an ISFP. However, if anyone were to peg me as either an INFP or ENFP, I wouldn't mind at all.

#12 ·
ISFP - I scored high on N and moderate-high on O and A (I got the same percentage on these two). I highly relate to the sensitive type, even though I'm not an intuiting type (although ISFP is one of the more intuitive of the sensors). I also feel that the discouraged type suits me well.

#14 ·
Okay, so if one only relies on the test, one gets these:
• Sensitive type (high n, high o)
Which would correlate well with ISFP

• Emotional type (high n, high a)
Which would correlate well with ISFP

The discouraged type would also be expected to be common among ISFPs.

I am curious to know what you think of the emotional type. Can you relate to that?

#18 ·
Like I said I am INFP and these are my results:

You Are Moderately Open to Experience
Your score for openness was 67.5%.

Your score for conscientiousness was low, at 17.5%.

You Are Low in Extraversion
Your score for Extraversion was low, at 20%.

Extraversion describes a person’s inclination to seek stimulation from the outside world, especially in the form of attention from other people. Extraverts engage actively with others in order to earn friendship, admiration, power, status, excitement, and romance. Introverts tend to conserve their energy, and do not work as hard to earn these social rewards.

People who are low in Extraversion tend to be:

Reserved
Independent
Quiet
Deliberate
Extraversion seems to be related to the emotional payoff that a person gets from achieving a goal, especially a goal that involves other people. People who are high in Extraversion are thrilled by achievements like getting a promotion, landing a new mate, or receiving an award. People who are low in Extraversion do not experience the same “high” from these experiences, and so do not put in as much effort to pursue them.

People who are low in Extraversion tend to be fairly independent, and do not need a lot of admiration or recognition from others in order to feel satisfied. They tend not to be interested in money or status, and would rather lead a life that is personally pleasing than one that gains them the attention of others.

You Are Low in Agreeableness
Your score for Agreeableness was low, at 55%.

Your low score in Agreeableness indicates that you put your own needs first most of the time. You may see other people as a threat to your ability to get what you want, and you often suspect ulterior motives in others. You are mostly unwilling to sacrifice your own needs in the service of other people.

You Are High in Neuroticism
Your score for Neuroticism was high, at 95%.

Like I said I am INFP
When I asked for "your scores for your INFP type", I was referring to the strength of each of the four preferences, but it's fine.

So, your big five test came out like this.

O 67,5 moderate
C 17,5 low
E 20 low
A 55 low
N 95 high

That would indicate that the SCATTERED TYPE (Low C, High N) or DISCOURAGED TYPE (Low E, High N) would be a good match. Both of those are also expected to be more common among INFPs.

But you can really pick and choose between types that combine two of your low or high scores. It's up to you to find the one that you feel is the best match.

#20 ·
You Are Highly Open to Experience
Your score for openness was high, at 85%.

Openness describes a person’s tendency to think in abstract, complex ways. High scorers are prone to associative thinking, meaning that they readily see relationships between things. People high in Openness are more able to connect seemingly unrelated concepts, making them more likely to appreciate art and unusual ideas.

You Are Low in Conscientiousness
Your score for conscientiousness was low, at 35%.

Conscientiousness describes a person’s ability to exercise self-discipline and control in order to pursue their goals. High scorers are organized and determined, and are able to forego immediate gratification for the sake of long-term achievement. Low scorers are impulsive and easily sidetracked.

You Are Low in Extraversion
Your score for Extraversion was low, at 10%.

You Are High in Agreeableness
Your score for Agreeableness was high, at 77.5%.

Agreeableness describes a person’s tendency to put others’ needs ahead of their own, and to cooperate rather than compete with others. People who are high in Agreeableness experience a great deal of empathy and tend to get pleasure out of serving and taking care of others.

You Are High in Neuroticism
Your score for Neuroticism was high, at 72.5%.

Neuroticism describes a person’s tendency to experience negative emotions, including fear, sadness, anxiety, guilt, and shame. While everyone experiences these emotions from time to time, people high in Neuroticism seem especially prone to them.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Hmm, higher than expected agreeableness, and lower than expected neuroticism. Hmmmmmmmm. I usually score in the middle for agreeableness. Not surprisingly, I could see myself on both low A and high A in some cases.

Low extraversion (10%) and high openness (85%) are the two most unequivocal scales. So the Bookwormish type. Relatable, but I find myself relating a lot to sensitive, tolerant, and fanciful. In order, sensitive>fanciful>tolerant=bookwormish, going by descriptions. The differences between the ">"s are pretty miniscule though.

BOOKWORMISH TYPE (Low E, High O)
Bookwormish Types are highly intellectual, introspective, self-examining loners. Although they keep to themselves, their level of intelligence and learning garners them respect for others. They are described by other persons as learned, well-read, persevering, rule-abiding, calm, and industrious.

EMOTIONAL TYPE (High A, High N) (especially when I was a kid; less so as I became older)
Emotional Types--whether male or female--are stereotypically feminine. They are in touch with both positive and negative feelings. Others describe them with terms such as sentimental, affectionate, sensitive, soft, passionate, romantic, feminine, emotional, and gullible.
To lesser extent, these guys too.

HUMBLE TYPE (Low E, High A)
Humble Types are peace-loving, somewhat timid, and seek social acceptance by going along with what others want. These individuals are described by others with terms such as calm, agreeable, cooperative, composed, warm, preserving, and submissive.

APATHETIC TYPE (Low E, Low C)
Apathetic Types lack energy and direction in life. They are described by others with terms such as passive, unenergetic, unambitious, sluggish, indecisive, aimless, and wishy-washy.

OTHER-DIRECTED TYPE (High A, Low C)
Other-Directed Types are easy-going, somewhat lazy drifters who lack strong opinions and principles. They prefer simply to hang out with their social crowd.(?) They are described by others as relaxed, outgoing, and unlettered.

DISCOURAGED TYPE (Low E, High N)
Discouraged Types are not happy with their present life situation but feel there is no way out because they lack the ability to improve their life circumstances. They are perceived by others as unambitious, un-energetic, shy, solitary, passive, introverted, cowardly, pessimistic, insecure, and fearful.

Defies the preferences (in at least one of the two), but nonetheless quite relatable:

MOODY TYPE (Low A, High N)
Moody Types tend to report experiencing many negative emotions and few positive emotions. They are described by others as complex, changeable, worried, depressed, tense, impatient, moody, anxious, irritable, nervous, quitting, unenergetic, unambitious, introverted, cold, unreliable, self-centered, negligent, and stubborn.

INDIVIDUALISTIC TYPE (Low A, High O)
Individualistic types consider themselves to be unique and more intelligent than [compared to] most people around them. In extreme cases they might be regarded as eccentric, but in most cases they are perceived by others as complex, well-read, imaginative, and industrious.

DISTANT TYPE (Low E, Low A)
Distant Types show an active disinterest in other people. They are detached, skeptical, cynical loners who find little joy in human relations. They are described by others as solitary, depressed, worried, introverted, and shy.

I also relate somewhat to moralistic because some of the writing alluded to moral principles being important to them. This is true, but the thing about achievement-driven, I find it hard to relate. Unsurprisingly, one of the main criticisms coming from my parents when I was a kid was exactly that: lacking willpower and being indecisive as heck.

Oh, and I am INFP. My I is the strongest one out of the four dichotomies, followed by N. On the dichotomy-based ones, I get weak preferences for F and P (sometimes even getting T and/or J). I am sure on Fi and Ne though.

Thanks for sharing, Jakuri!

It's interesting what you write about how your A and N can vary depending on the situation. Can they vary over weeks and months as well? I am assuming you're a woman, given your avatar, and I've been wondering how the more or less regular spikes and drops in levels of hormones affect the big five scores.

I took a different big 5 test that goes a little more in depth. The downside is that it's 300 questions.

Personality Assessor | IPIP-300 Personality Test

I'm an INFJ and the Big 5 types that I best fall into are:

BOOKWORMISH TYPE (Low E, High O)

As far as MBTI is concerned, I'm an INTJ who's pretty solidly introverted, intuitive, and judging. On the T-F scale, I usually fall pretty borderline, usually just a handful of points on the T side of things

O 85 (+35)
C 50
E 35 (-15)
A 73 (+23)
N 80 (+30)

TOP 5
1. high O, high N (65) Sensitive
2. high O, high A (58) Tolerant
3. high A, high N (53) Emotional
4. high O, low E (50) Bookworm
5. low E, high N (45) Discouraged

Sounds about right. I relate to the sensitive one.

Usually, my highes score is N followed by low E and then moderate O and A with fluctuating C. Taking that into account, I am discouraged. I relate to that one as well, but I think I relate more to sensitive. My N is definitely the highest though.

In terms of MBTI, I lately score as an ISTJ, with clear I and T.

Openness

Your score for openness was 62.5%. This is in the moderate range.

Because your score is in the midrange, it is likely that you do not stand out as either a particularly imaginative, nor a particularly conservative person. You probably do not consider yourself to be particularly creative or unconventional. You probably also do not appear especially conservative or narrow in your interests.

Conscientiousness
Conscientiousness describes a person’s ability to exercise self-discipline and control in order to pursue their goals. High scorers are organized and determined, and are able to forego immediate gratification for the sake of long-term achievement. Low scorers are impulsive and easily sidetracked.

The concept of Conscientiousness focuses on a dilemma we all face: shall I do what feels good now, or instead do what is less fun but will pay off in the future? Some people are more likely to choose fun in the moment, and thus are low in Conscientiousness. Others are more likely to work doggedly toward their goals, and thus are high in this trait.

Your score for conscientiousness was 48%, which is in the moderate range.

Your moderate score in Conscientiousness indicates that you are fairly average in your tendency to respond to impulses. You probably have some long-term goals and are fairly successful in pursuing them, but can be sidetracked sometimes when a particularly attractive diversion presents itself.

Extraversion

Your score for Extraversion was moderate, at 44%.

Your mid-range score on this dimension indicates that you are fairly average in your motivation to seek out social rewards. You probably have some desire for admiration, influence, and prestige, but you can also be content when you’re not winning recognition from others.

Agreeableness
Agreeableness describes a person’s tendency to put others’ needs ahead of their own, and to cooperate rather than compete with others. People who are high in Agreeableness experience a great deal of empathy and tend to get pleasure out of serving and taking care of others. They are usually trusting and forgiving.

People who are low in Agreeableness tend to experience less empathy and put their own concerns ahead of others. Low scorers are often described as hostile, competitive, and antagonistic. They tend to have more conflictual relationships and often fall out with people.

Your score for Agreeableness was low, at 50%.

People who are low in Agreeableness tend to experience less empathy and put their own concerns ahead of others. Low scorers are often described as hostile, competitive, and antagonistic. They tend to have more conflictual relationships and often have conflicts with people.

Your low score in Agreeableness indicates that you put your own needs first most of the time. You may see other people as a threat to your ability to get what you want, and you often suspect ulterior motives in others. You are mostly unwilling to sacrifice your own needs in the service of other people.

Neuroticism
Neuroticism describes a person’s tendency to experience negative emotions, including fear, sadness, anxiety, guilt, and shame. While everyone experiences these emotions from time to time, some people are more prone to them than others.

This trait can be thought of as an alarm system. People experience negative emotions as a sign that something is wrong in the world. You may be in danger, so you feel fear. Or you may have done something morally wrong, so you feel guilty. However, not everyone has the same reaction to a given situation. High Neuroticism scorers are more likely to react to a situation with fear, anger, sadness, and the like. Low Neuroticism scorers are more likely to brush off their misfortune and move on.

Your score for neuroticism was low, at 19%.

Because you are low in Neuroticism, you are less likely than other people to experience negative emotions like fear or sadness. You are probably optimistic, carefree, and self-confident. You rarely worry about how things will turn out.

Low Neuroticism scorers are less likely to get divorced or to suffer mental illness. They tend to handle stress well and take unfortunate events in stride. Major stressors like losing a job or getting a divorce are less likely to cause depression or anxiety in people who have low levels of Neuroticism. In general, low Neuroticism scorers report solid self-esteem and a positive outlook on life.

Because you are low in Extraversion, you probably appear reserved and even somewhat aloof to other people. You tend to be quiet and to express yourself with care. You have a calm demeanor and do not get excited easily.

People who are low in Extraversion tend to be fairly independent, and do not need a lot of admiration or recognition from others in order to feel satisfied. They tend not to be interested in money or status, and would rather lead a life that is personally pleasing than one that gains them the attention of others.

Agreeableness
Agreeableness describes a person’s tendency to put others’ needs ahead of their own, and to cooperate rather than compete with others. High Neuroticism scorers are more likely to react to a situation with fear, anger, sadness, and the like. Low Neuroticism scorers are more likely to brush off their misfortune and move on.

Your score for Neuroticism was high, at 96%.

Your Personality Patterns
Your personality traits interact to create unique patterns of thought and behavior. In this section, you'll learn how your traits work together to drive the way you interact with the world.

To describe your personality patterns, we use a circular graph called a circumplex. The circumplex is used by psychologists to illustrate how two traits intersect to create more complex patterns of thought and behavior. Each circumplex has four sections, with each section describing a typical pattern. The area of each section shows how well that pattern describes you. A larger area indicates a better fit for that pattern.

Some circumplex graphs will show a clear preference for one pattern. Others will show a more even spread over two or even three patterns. Where you have nearly equal scores for two or more patterns, you can expect that both patterns may describe you equally well.

Core Pattern
This circumplex describes the essential role you take on in approaching the world. This role is a reflection of your core values and motivations, as well as the way you think about things.

EMPATHIC IDEALIST
Uses insight and creativity to help others. Thinks about how the world could be a better and more beautiful place.

PRACTICAL CARETAKER
Helps other people in practical, everyday ways. Uses established institutions to maintain stability and security.

This one doesn't describes me whatsoever:

SENSITIVE TYPE (High N, High O)
Sensitive types are very bright but emotionally sensitive. They pay attention to, and are strongly affected by, things that happen in the world around them. They open themselves to their environment; consequently they enjoy many positive sensory experiences, but on the other hand they are vulnerable to having their feelings hurt. They are described by others as complex and imaginative.
