okay so you may be aware of the archetypes of the zodiac signs descriptions. so let's try to match their corresponding MBTI.this isn't about the validity of astrology and whatnot but let's just try to match a corresponding archetypal zodiac sign to a particular MBTI type which would be the closest for that sign.

Aries- ESFP
Taurus- ISTJ
Gemini- ENTP
Cancer- ISFP
Leo- ENFP
Virgo- ESTJ
Libra- ESFJ
Scorpio- INFP
Sagittarius- ENFP
Capricorn- ISTJ
Aquarius- ENTP
Pisces- INFJ

what are your thoughts?

INFJ Pisces. I always thought they fit well together, since they're both chameleons focused on harmony and supposedly "psychic".

Always thought Cancer would be INFP but I can see ISFP as well. INFP /could/ be Scorpio too....idk, I knew an INTJ Scorpio and that felt like a very natural fit.

Aquarius is EXTP so I agree with that.

You can try to find your best fit Zodiac sign by your personality (basically like your spirit Zodiac), or simply go by your birthdate. Spirit Zodiac is way more interesting to me, because I don't see any reason to believe personalities are actually related to birthday. I've seen some people take this approach.

Can you explain what this means along with some resources you may like? I'm interested on what it says about personality-related stuff.

Well this applies to anyone with knowledge in the area. Thank you.

@iLeaf thanks, so you figured out your Pisces based on this, but not your Aries? How'd you figure out Aries if so?
I'm still an Aries. Aries is my Sun sign - the Zodiac sign you would go to in a horoscope - which in astrology refers to the Ego.

If you looked at a calculation of the birth chart like this:

It will show you which sign is the most influential in your chart, which to me would be Pisces. It also throws into account the planets, which in astrology talks about energy and purpose: Sun = Ego; Moon = Emotions; Mercury = Communication; Mars =Drive/Ambition; Jupiter = Personal Growth; etc: which are all in different signs, most of mine being in Pisces.

In your earlier post you talked about selectively choosing a Zodiac spirit, I suppose I just chose mine through the above approach.

Although I don't take astrology toooo seriously and wouldn't base important decisions or choose my partner on certain star constellations, I love to play with my birth chart and see what I can get out of it. But it's just a 'just for fun' thing. But at the same time I'm quite knowledgable in astrology related stuff.

Here is my interpretation/systematization of my chart:

1. Natal chart with aspects and calculations:

2. Specifics

  • Hemispheres: Western hemisphere is emphasised
  • Elements: Water and Fire are emphasised // Earth and Air are underemphasised

3. Individual Analysis
3.1 Leo Ascendant (Chart ruler in Pisces House 8)

3.2 Stellium (Sun/Moon/Mercury) in Pisces in House 8

  • Aspects (Aspect figure between Sun/Mercury-Jupiter-Neptune-Pluto-Chiron)

3.3 Midhaven in Aries (Ruler Mars in Aries in House 9)

3.4 Stellium (Venus/Mars/Lilith) in Aries in House 9

  • Aspects (Big Trine between Venus/Mars-AC-Uranus)

3.5 "Problematic" aspects of my chart: Saturn in Scorpio in House 4

  • Aspects (T-Square between Sun/Mercury-Saturn-Chiron)

I know, I have a very watery/fiery chart with specific connections, i.e.

  • Pisces/House 8/Sun-Moon-Mercury
  • Aries/House 9/Venus-Mars-[MC]
  • Scorpio/House 4/Saturn-Pluto --> blind spot
  • Leo rising/ Uranus-Neptun in 5

As you can see, astrology is not just about your sun sign, it's much broader and every chart is unique in it's constellation. I am pisces (connected with lots of scorpio themes = 8th house/Pluto) and at the same time very fiery. I know another user here on PC with whom I share a lot of similarities according to our birth charts (pisces, strong 8th house with lot's of fire energy) and this person is also INFJ 1w2 (146 tritype). Maybe it's pure coincidence, but maybe there is something about astrology, but I cannot explain, how it works. So I'm not taking it too seriously but I love to look at my chart and compare it to others, just for fun. Like I love to play with the "cognitive functions". They are not scientific neither, but I love to "work with" and talk about the theory.

I've seen many people who put ISFP for pisces (Well, not for this thread), and I disagree with that, I dont see alot of connection of ISFP and Pisces, I'm saying this as an ISFP myself.

Only thing that what I find releatable with pisces is the sensitivity part (And also I sometimes hate my over-sensitivity, it can cause me troubles sometimes)

Pisces is pretty intuitive zodiac sign, so an sensing type just doesent and should not go for pisces.

Pisces loves to escape reality and get easly addicted to drugs, and as an ISFP, thats not the case for me, I do not like escaping reality and I have enough brains to realise that drugs is unhealthy for me and over-all It's an unnecessary addiction to me.

I made up my mind about the correlation of the Myers-Briggs-Types and the different archetypes of the zodiac and came to this conclusion:

The zodiac archetypes are a combination of the following MB-types:

Aries: ESTP, ENTJ (ESTJ, ISTP)
Taurus: ESFJ, ISFP (ISFJ, ISTJ)
Gemini: ENTP (ESTP, INTP, ESFP)
Cancer: ISFJ (ENFJ, INFP, ESFJ)
Leo: ESFP (ENTJ, ENFP, ENFJ)
Virgo: ISTJ (ESTJ, ISFJ, INFJ)
Libra: ENFJ (ESFJ, ISFP, INFP)
Scorpio: INTJ (INFJ, ISTP, INTP)
Sagittarius: ENFP (ESFP, ENTP, ESTP)
Capricorn: ESTJ (ISTJ, INTJ, ENTJ)
Aquarius: INTP, ISTP (ENTP, INTJ)
Pisces: INFJ, INFP (ISFP, ENFP)

The MB-types are a combination of the following zodiac archetypes:
ESTP: Aries (Gemini>Sagittarius)
ESTJ: Capricorn (Virgo>Aries)
ESFP: Leo (Sagittarius>Gemini)
ESFJ: Taurus (Libra>Cancer)
ENTP: Gemini (Sagittarius>Aquarius)
ENTJ: Aries (Leo>Capricorn)
ENFP: Sagittarius (Leo>Pisces)
ENFJ: Libra (Cancer>Leo)
ISTP: Aquarius (Scorpio>Aries)
ISTJ: Virgo (Capricorn>Taurus)
ISFP: Taurus (Libra>Pisces)
ISFJ: Cancer (Virgo>Taurus)
INTP: Aquarius (Gemini>Scorpio)
INTJ: Scorpio (Capricorn>Aquarius)
INFP: Pisces (Cancer>Libra)
INFJ: Pisces (Scorpio>Virgo)

I don't think correlations between the two work very well, but here's my list anyway. I think some types ended up being left out being they don't really fit into any of the zodiacal archetypes. I tried being as inclusive as possible though.

Aries -- ExTJ, xSTP
Taurus -- ISFx, ISTJ
Gemini -- ENxP
Cancer -- INFx
Leo -- xxFP
Virgo -- ISxJ
Libra -- xxFJ
Scorpio -- INxJ, ISxP
Sagittarius -- ExxP
Capricorn -- xxTJ
Aquarius -- xNTP, ENFP
Pisces -- INFx

These kinds of things never make sense to me. What seems most accurate? The zodiac signs don't even fit into their own arcatypes.....

I am very, very analytical and tend to find patterns in everything and so it's something I've thought about before for fun - but I am in INFP/Libra.

I therefore, kind of discarded astrology after learning everything about it...

It doesn't fit the description, as Libras are suppose to be level-headed, calm and collected, and hide from strong emotion--this can be a slight corrolation there, however, as INFP's are called mediators, too. It can take Libra's 20 years to finally EXPLODE. INFP, though peace-loving, are known to freakout relatively often.

However, my rising sign is Scorpio and my Moon is Gemini. Also, Libra's tend to be extroverted. They seem more ENFJ to me.

How can a Scorpio be a INFP, although both deep, selective, and emotional, when Scorpio is considered the most revengeful and vindictive sign? An INFP, being spiteful and revengeful? Unheard of, almost.

ENFP's seem very Gemini to me. I know a few ENFP's that are Gemini, I also know a few who are INTJs..... It can work for both. Since Gemini's are smart and complex but also don't give a sh**. That would probably leave Aquarius as an INFJ - since air signs like Libra, Gemini, and Aquarius are "idealistic". But, that leaves an extra, and aren't air signs (Libra, Gemini, and Aquarius) considered the thinkers in astrology???

ENTJ's are very much Aries-like. My best friend is a Aries/ENTJ. Little generals, same thing. But Aries aren't that uptight.

However, fire signs, like LEO, ARIES and SAG are considered more emotional than earth and air. So, they tend towards being Feelers - and, as they are more active, they might tend towards Sensors.

But Aries is considered the most intuitive and independent sign. They have a secret fear of being alone and generally are feelers too, who like to start a fight and not finish it.

The love of my life was, suprisingly, an ENFJ - who was an Aries. That, as I am in INFP, was neat to me, as ENFJ/INFP are opposites and "good partners."

Ok, so this whole thing gets weird because INFJ and INTJ, for example, are considered very rare so.. Why would one sign be that much more common than another? Studies have showed that there are the most LEOs in the world.

An INTP, seems Capricornish/Geminish; my little brother is a INTP, but... He is a Cancer... So, where is that coming from? His Moon is Virgo.

12 zodiac signs... 16 MBTI... 4 types of 3 groups of different elements in astrology. Leaving 4 extra ones. Feeling air signs? Unemotional fires? Idealistic earth? Aggressive water?

God, I just hate this game........
