@L... How long do you IS/day ? Do you feel the pain in your brain as our beloved @GeniusOverlord described? Did you notice some improvements in your intelligence ? Are you an Intp (because L, THE L,(unless you're him obviously( i mean the creator's anime)) is an INTP)? Did you develop some form of synesthesis? Do you have an eidetic memory? Did you read The complete GTG? Do you live in Amsterdam (actually i don't care, just to verify if i identified your flag correctly)? And do you know some other ways to increase intelligence, because i'm eager (not sure about this word's meaning) to overcome my limit?

usaually i awareness stream for about 30 to 2hours a day through out school. if am tired usaually i d 15 t 30 minutes as fr the fatigue it depends n hw much i awareness stream 2# Q i would say not yet for the intelligence part at least not to my liking or point where i consider a relevant increase yet i think should do this for six months because just recently realized I was actually doing it wrong so had to strt over but now i have exams and dnt want to burn out so for about a week i wont be awareness streaming
as for the intp thing well i would be between L and senku. L when i am depressed stressed out or chill and senku when a m ecstatic in either case just get "excited"
synesthesia well that is only in long term streaming and of course if i havent done streaming for longer I wnt have a eidetic memory as for tcgtg i have it and read it quite a few times targeting specific wordings and techniques to provide more insight into what ever techniques are at my disposal i recently strted ims after a long day of awareness streaming to supplement my increase IN IQ some the other techniques might be P.t or pseudo telekinesis, awreness streaming

Doing it in school, 2h??! Bro i'm tired streaming 15mn in class...( Thx for the expercience, looking forward to those 6months of what you consider the real IS, despite your exams).
Otherwise I discovered IS through the complete GTG, 8months ago (i'm practising for about 20mn a day, more when i'm bored at school).

The placebo hit so hard tho at that time(8months ago just after beginning), and now i'm seeing more tangible benefits such as an ability to sense the environment in detail ( i remember after the summer holidays, the city looked so different, bigger,with more details, and it's not due to the prolonged absence because i still feel this intensely, even in my house), i also noticed that i was able to read more easily difficult books, my dreams became 1 months ago really vivid, and my ability to visualize became greater! I'm also making weird links over different topics.
I almost forgot : my visual memory improved : often i suddenly have picture of a sentence in my head of a course related to the context.
I do feel more clever but those improvements are weak 😭. (IQ tests are not really good on the internet according to psychologists so i'm not doing them unless you want, even though i did one before streaming and it was 130 average (3diffetents on the same website))

As far as anecdotes are concerned... I inquired and it seems that long term streamers gained huge benefits.

Finally, what got me interested in IS L: actually i wanna destroy those top heads of class. JK JK JK i'm one of them 🦦 (tha cute animal again, of topic i know), also i'm better in maths, i'm even more difficult to read according to my teachers... (Linkedzalala has the same problem, (INTP thing? , Cause sometimes i'm taking in your stream of thought while reading (or it's your typing that is flawed 😈), (including you in the intp)). The real reason: i wanna overcome my limits, therefore i'm also training hard in sports, i actually like burning my brain (chess is good for that).

(I discovered why you're hard to read, goddamn where are all those coma and full marks ? Hehehe)
 
IQ obsession: I sort of get it, and sort of not. This is something I have eddiccashun about, so lissen:
  • Most people tell you their IQ based on tests they took online. That is not valid.
  • The only way to have your IQ validly measured is to have a qualified person give you an IQ test, which means some kind of psychologist (this is their professional dominion, their bailiwick) or person operating under their supervision.
  • If you had your IQ tested in school, there's a fair chance that it's valid.
  • If you had your IQ tested in a medical setting or it was court-ordered, there's a good chance that it's valid.
  • Adult IQs cannot normally be tested up to much more than 135. There are some ways to do it, but it takes extra knowledge and effort. Additionally, it's very uncommon to have a higher IQ, so most psychologist won't bother or care. Such high IQs are more often found in children, where they're far easier to find on tests.
  • It almost goes without saying, but reports on IQs of historical figures who haven't taken IQ tests are highly speculative to the point of being BS.
  • IQ correlates highly with school performance. It correlates not very well with job performance. in general. Why? Emotional intelligence is more important than IQ in job performance (at least as reported by supervisors).

Could you share your experience regarding image streaming ? (Unless you don't practice it)
Or since you look kinda pro about IQ, do you think IS can increase it?:)

Re image streaming, I will share the instruction I wrote out. They are probably overly complicated, but give it a look.

Re IQ improvement. The theory goes that it cannot be improved. I don't buy this, but I think there's probably a limit. The optimal approach is probably playing to your strengths. So if you're good at math, do lots of math problems, and if you're good at language, read a lot, do crosswords, study other languages. If it's applying logic to hands-on activities, such as arts, crafts, mechanics and so on, which my be the case for IS, then do that. If you spend time critiquing yourself and trying to change the way you do things, that will probably boost your IQ and will certainly help your cognitive functioning in general. Challenge yourself. Our brains are plastic, adaptation machines. When you stop growing, you start to decline.

I have found at various times that I have a lot more potential for growth than I thought. Sometimes you have to keep at it for a while. Old, lazy ways of thinking can creep in and may be hard to dislodge.

Canarybat, FOA thx for the cat compliment (he's indeed cute although terrifying), i noticed you changed your profile picture (am i mistakening tho?), it's fire now. Image streaming does not mean to watch films or video (well it does, i'm really.... ), but in this thread : it's a mental workout who supposedly raise your IQ.

You asked if those instructions were o-t-t (let me google that first, done), they're not (i'm sure teachers love the way you explain, cause they keep repeating (at least in France) that we must act as they're dumb, and sometimes it's not funny cause they really are; off that tangent), or a source of comic relief, they are.
So apparently you didn't know what this exercise was.

Ahhh! I am of the generation known as "X." This type of streaming is way out of my league. It sounds awesome, actually. I'll bet it's great for ISTP (I recall that ISTP is relevant, no?). My mom is ISTP and I have many ISTP friends. All have high general intelligence and are particularly strong at mechanics, math, art, athletics (from a finesse rather than strength standpoint) and have great hand-eye coordination. Video games are great for maintaining and developing intelligence. The more parts of your brain they use at once, the better.

I'm sure it's fine for all personality types, however, istp's might naturally be more inclined to practice IS, or better predisposed (in fact, being able to visualize easily makes the exercise easier) to continue in the long run.
In any case it is mostly ENTPs and INTPs who contribute in this thread.

Yes, I am sure that ENTP and INTP and everybody else also benefits from video games. They integrate many parts of cognitive functioning, which is excellent. I went to school in a computer tech area, so my professors were involved in integrating computer tech and psych, which was quite exciting. I had the privilege of participating in many well-constructed experiments using computers when this was cutting edge. So I am excited to check out this video and book.

For ENTP and INTP, I recently read that meditation and mindfulness are very helpful to extremely helpful. This article claimed that for the optimal functioning of intuitives, meditation is critical. Somehow clearing out the mind is like having a clean palette to work with for intuitives. All the chatter is like clutter and you want to get rid of that before sitting down to work or starting on a new problem. Apparently this is not as important for sensors since they gather most of their information from outside of their own heads.

(If you check the complete guide to genius, the exercices are real and work but the author tends to exaggerate the benefits, i mean way too much)
 
I tested my iq on online websites a few years ago and I remember geting 112. Today after 31 days of consistent image streaming I went to the mensa test and got 121.The benefits I can perceive is a higher interest in studies, while before I enjoyed more bing watching and loosing time on nonsense, I also notice that my reading speed and comprehension has increased and my focus doesnt fade away constantly like it used to. As to my schedule, I do image streaming for 30-40 minutes a day while I walk to work, with my eyes open(obviously >3) and nonverbal (advanced IS) at the beginning it was hard not to lose focus but Im getting used to it. For the past two days Ive been implementing a method where I can study and Stream at the same time. While I walk to work i watch youtube videos where people are coding and I try to stream the coding language that im witnessing in my mind creating conexions and pathways, this practice is very taxing for my mind and after doing it for more than 30 minutes my brain was burntout throughout the next day and I couldnt think clearly. I would like to know if anyone here has tried something similar and If they think its a waste of time and I should try other methods like QWS/MDQWS instead (sorry if my english isn't perfect)
