This thread is dead but anyway, I'll go for the 4 main characters.
Totally agree with Shawn being an ISFP. I can totally identify with the Se-Ni in the middle, where he's super present focused but when he actually tries to figure out his future, he freaks out and mostly gets either reckless or thinks he's doomed. He has that do-not-try-to-control-me defensive attitude that comes with inferior Te yet still obsesses with trying to find his identity, while he's super private about how he's really feeling and guarded due to being afraid of getting hurt, aka dom Fi. He's all about defending what he believes in and cares about.
I went for ENFP at first for Cory, but that just seems so unlikely to me now, because I see a lot of Fe. I'd say ESFJ. He's incredibly influenced by his surroundings, and even if he has a pretty set moral code and wants to do what's right, he can easily be influenced to do otherwise. Like I said, he has a set moral code, but it's a universal one, he wants to do what's best for everyone. He keeps seeking for approval and to fit in, be a part of a whole. Even though he's a quite bad student, that doesn't stop him from being an SJ, since that's such a stereotype. If you consider it, he's a different 'bad student' to the kind that Shawn and Eric are. It's not like he doesn't have anything figured out. xNxPs (strong Ne) have a hard time figuring things out because they get lost in daydreaming and possibilities, xSxPs (strong Se) do because they are too present focused to worry about what's ahead of them. Cory knows what he wants deep down, he just doesn't have the Ni that would make him more goal focused and future oriented like Topanga is.
Topanga, as I said, uses Ni, so yeah, I'd also go for ENFJ. The strong Fe is obvious. I don't really have to explain myself here, do I? My second guess would be INFJ, but not much about her shows a stronger use of Ni than Fe, while her Fe is like a constant in her character.
Eric has been typed in this thread as both ESFP and ENFP, but I think I'll go with ENFP. When he acts on impulse, it's not like Shawn does, who does stupid things without thinking that he will later regret. When he acts on impulse it's because he expects to get something out of it, sometimes with goals so idealistic that for everyone else they make no sense, but they do to him. Like when they offer him that one job as part of his intership and he drops out of school because he really wants to do it without considering that it's not gonna last and it will blow on his face. He's too idealistic to be a Se dom.
