Any other INFPs out there who like learning foreign languages?

I speak Hungarian (my first language) and German. Have been studying Hebrew, Italian, French and Latin. Also interested in Greek...

Same. Taking German was my biggest obstacle from graduating college.

I do like languages and how different cultures express themselves. It's a very curious thing language... I'd like to study a language from the outside... and not have to actually use it... learning a language that way is much too difficult...

Danish is my native language. English is like a second language to me, though I'm not completely fluent in it. But I usually think in English, lol. And I'm often struggling to find the Danish translations for English terms, when having conversations in Danish.

I also speak a little German and Spanish; not enough to be able to have conversations, but enough to get by should I ever be in Germany/Spain, I think..

Oh, and this is my first post, so... Hi

I didn't claim I could speak all those languages - but have studied them for a length of time (or am still studying them). I just love learning foreign languages.

Being able to think in another language is a liberating experience. I am much more inhibited when using my first language, what is your experience?

I am a serial dabbler in lots of areas, and foreign languages definitely tend to catch my curiosity. I know at least a few words in probably dozens of languages. I think I tend to understand better than I have the vocabulary to fully be able to translate, because of my high Intuition.

English is my native tongue
I'm pretty much fluent in German
I took 1 year of rather pathetic Japanese
3 years of Latin and it sucked -dumbest language ever

Then I plan on learning French, Italian, all the Scandinavian languages if I can, and a few others. The goal is to be atleast approaching fluency in 10 before I die.

I speak a little French, but the little I do speak, I speak well, as I speak with a flawless Parisian accent, as teachers have told me. I have a knack for French and am trying to learn more.

As for other languages, I don't know; I haven't really tried any others, but would like to.

I think the trick is that you have to have confidence, as much confidence as a native speaker has. You have to pretend that you are a native speaker. My imagination helped me learn more quickly, but maybe that's just me.
