What is the difference between male INTJs and female INTJs besides the general gender differences?

INTJ females are rumored to have folders filled with pictures of those they stalk, erm-- have crushes on.

Legend has it that INTJ males secretly preserve "dead" skin cells of their prey, erm-- objects of infatuation, in hopes of one day discovering how to clone indecisive and emotionless zombies.

A Japanese INTJ male was the inventor of the FemLogic SexBot Prototype. A Japanese INTJ male also produced the MMORPG: 3Feel.

I'd just like to point out how this post goes from seemingly sensical to pure shit rul fast.

Aside from general gender difference? None that I'm aware of. After all, if we're different not just in typical gender differences and other factors (nationality, age, upbringing, etc.), type becomes quite irrelevant, doesn't it?

Do INTJ men and women have differences...hmmm that is an interesting topic. I think that men are raised to believe they need to be strong and often times are told to "tough up" and stop crying. This could have an effect on the Fi of an INTJ male. Also, males have more testosterone, which could affect things.

As a female, I have been made fun of for my intelligence. Many times after expressing my thoughts, I've been told I think too much. I have been called a bitch, mean, a wall...etc. I've really had to learn to adapt to society; how to dumb myself down in certain situations and be less intimidating in a strategic way, in order to get where I need to go or do what I want. I don't think I am describing this very well.

I wonder if men have to deal with things like that? It has made me a well-rounded individual. I express feelings as well as thoughts and am able to connect with people pretty well now.

While I am guessing that there is nothing different between male and female INTJs personality-wise (I'm stereotyping here), there are definitely differences in regards how each gender is viewed in society. In my opinion, it is more acceptable to have a male INTJ than a female INTJ due to the fact that most people expect females to be the opposite. However, that is more on the fact that society has it's own perception of how girls should act (i.e. extroverted vs introverted) coupled by the rarity of INTJ females in comparison to INTJ males.

Personally, I like INTJ girls (I know one and she's quite nice) because they are quite witty and know a lot about everything (she knows stuff that ranges from academia to pop culture). It does take some work to get past their icy exterior, but I can empathize because I act like that as a default until somebody gets to know me better.

On the note of dumbing information down, I've got an INTJ friend and he does this to me every time.

It's understandable if you've grown up around people whom you've had to dumb everything down for, or have scrutinized your intelligence. If that's the case I'll end my plea. But if it's a case of just assuming that nobody cares or is not intelligent enough to comprehend what you are doing, or what your interests are, I wanna slap you sometimes!

I'm a knowledge junkie, I'm actually interested and have the brain functions to comprehend complex systems and concepts. ._. Don't deny that this happens, either, I know how assertive you can be, and then you just do a fucking 4th dimensional 180.

As an INTJ female (from an Asian culture, which has no doubt influenced me), I find that I am much angrier than the INTJ males I know. My older brother is borderline INTJ/ENTJ, and his personality was viewed as having so many "strengths", and my similar personality traits were viewed as fundamental flaws that needed to be worked out somehow by throwing me into home ec in junior high. I'm bitter. My brother comes off as smart, logical, funny in a sardonic way... and I just come off as an abrasive know-it-all sarcastic bitch. Maybe I am at this point.

Same here. I'm very jaded. Some days it feels like my entire life has a been one huge battle against other people's expectations of who I *should* be.
