As other said people who seem "fake" or have an "agenda" don't always mean harm sometimes they pretend to be someone else for others to accept them and sometimes they have a plan to get close to someone in an indirect way, etc. I do notice people who are like that but I try to see what their motivations are first. I haven't met many who wanted to hurt others and when I have I warned (in a form of advice) about them.

Yeah, tbh INFJs, I think some of you need to have a read of "The Many Faces of INFJ" article, or just any of the countless INFJ threads and posts where a lot of you claim that you wish you could be your "true self" around others.
Ah that is one of the things I meant earlier about being "fake" not in a bad way but like a facade which one uses to protect him/herself because some fear not to be accepted or want to fit in.
Lol INTPs and pointing inconsistencies  thanks

I don't want to turn this into a philosophical debate of what is "the true self" but = in order to simplify matters we are talking about being yourself without hiding anything so showing the good, the bad, and the ugly so to speak. We all know INFJs don't do that with many people if they even show all their sides to anyone.

I think being fake is on a continuum on the dark part according to me anyone being fake with a sinister intention is not ok.
