Whenever I see someone whos pretty much always taking pictures like this, I automatically assume ISFP

Is this accurate? It's like you guys either have a deep gaze, or a really ironic forced smile where the top half of your face is , as if you're making fun of how dumb people look smiling in pictures  Do you guys do it consciously, or is it just what comes natural to you guys?

You guys always seem to look high btw

@cudibloop

I think I see what you mean. I have noticed that most ISFP pictures have a certain 'look' to them or something.
It's in the eyes, the gaze, the stare, I'm not sure what it is. But when I've seen other types' pictures in their forums, they all seem to have a unique look to them peculiar to their type.
Maybe I'm crazy to think this, idk. Not sure if Isfp's look high all the time, but i've heard that from friends lmao.

That is introverted feeling seeing through extroverted sensing. I don't think all ISFPs look like what was posted in the above pics though. Michael Jackson doesn't luk like he is making fun of anyone while smiling in his pics esp. younger days, he luks divine like a guru.

I'm not sure if it's true, but your observation made me laugh. I'm not very photogenic because I usually have some sort of odd expression. However, I only look high sometimes.....

If it's a selfie that I have taken in my room in comfortable circumstances then yeah I'd go with that. In other pictures I just look awful and uncomfortable and am ridiculously unphotogenic.

I have a lot of "deep, non-smiling" pictures on the Internet. I have ironic hipster pics, and pics where I'm looking at you like you're an idiot. I have serious, profound kitten pictures where an ISTJ told me I looked so sad (I think he loved me back then, but not now) I have scary-mocking-ESFJ-pics...I swear I have a pic on the beach where I'm smiling JUST LIKE my ESFJ ex.

So I think ISFPs may always be serious or deep or ironic trying to capture Fe unsuccessfully.

I don't know. I remember when I was about 22 someone said they most liked pics of me smiling but were also most frightened of pics of me smiling.

Oh and here's the picture where the ISTJ said I looked sad. I actually GOT TEARS IN MY EYES WHEN HE SAID I LOOKED SAD.

I have decided, forthwith, that ISTJs are infinitely better than ESFJs, however horrible they also may be.

I DO NOT LOOK HIGH.

I would probably label these also as "hipster." People have told me before that I don't even look like the same person in my pictures, that I look like three different people.

Also, I am not photogenic. Men, in particular, are always saying I look better in person. Don't know if this is an ISFP thing or a just having my face thing.

That's pretty interesting, TO ME, though, that I never look exactly the same in pics and that I look better in person. That means that I am largely personality. Kind of like Zelda Fitzgerald.

Or not.

I actually kind of hate this old pics of me, I think I look better now. But I am creeped out by the pic where I am smiling just like my ESFJ ex. I mean I look JUST LIKE HIM.

It's like those scenarios where they say couples start to look like each other. Am I smiling like him? Or did he smile like me? He kind of had effeminate body language I think he picked up from me, exes and his mother. Like he absorbed the people he was with. Or do I do that too?

Dude, we've been broken up for a long time. It's creepy. I have to upload it eventually, though, it's on my phone. Totally random. I swear to god I look like him in that picture.

When I look at the photos of ISFPs, I notice most of us have roundish faces or features....soft lines, that aren't very angular. People with angular faces photograph very well, and are striking in photos even when they're average-looking in person. It's just our tough luck, I guess.

The people who I thought were ISFP have dazzling smiles. Like when they are photographed during their happy moments, they exude light and joy.

People tell me when I genuinely smile it lights up my whole face.

The "fake Fe" thing is smiling because it's an American social norm to smile and look friendly, in customer service jobs especially, but just in daily life.

lol. Well, I guess I Am an ISFP because I do take pics like that haha. Wasn't sure before but this confirms it.
I do look like a bitch in most of my pictures or that I'm am serious need of a good poop. Inside my head though, I'm thinking about how funny Gollum was in Riddles in the Dark in The Hobbit or something random like that

There seems to be something distinct about the ISFP expression. I notice some things about myself. There is always an intensity about my eyes, no matter what the rest of my face is doing. They either look sad, angry, or mischievous, but always kind of like I know something. I have illustrated here.

I also have a very hard time smiling in pictures. When I genuinely smile, my whole face smiles, but I can't fake it for anything.
My teeth are showing. Nothing else is really happening.
This was my senior portrait.

This here is a genuine smile. I'm about to drop a frog on my mom.

Or here
at my birthday party, playing outdoor games.

I tend to do almost all the stuff mentioned in this thread, from having a normally sad/high/neutral/bitchy expression to looking extremely creepy and off when smiling in pictures, especially if forced since it doesn't come naturally to me. During my insane wrong typings I tried that and it was legitimately creepy and laughable. I tend to smirk or look mischievious in a similar way to SophiaMarie when I'm genuinely happy.

I wonder if it's an ISFP trait or a general Fi/Fi-dom trait. Still confused.

I know I have a resting bitch face. I do actually smile in photos, as long as it's not one photo too many :p I'm not averse to photographs either; my dad's a photographer so I was raised around it

#34 ·
I hate that people ask me to smile when they want to take a picture. Why do you have to smile for that? It also feels like they are trying to manipulate me.

I prefer a natural or neutral face. It's so much more authentic and having characters.

not sure what face I usually pull in pictures but here's a photo just to further along the observations. :proud:

edit: wow, so the general consensus is that ISFPs usually look high in their pictures. lmao to post or not to post a picture of me high...

If I'm genuinely smiling and hapy, then I'm really photogenic, but if I'm not smiling, I have a sad stare, with big sad eyes.

okay. figured it out. Here's one from two weeks ago:

the thing is it's easy to make me laugh, so there's a big difference between like casual pics and pics where I'm out and about doing things. if I'm doing outdoors something that I love, you'll be able to tell. you can't get the grin off my face.
