I don't think LW has been typed in its own thread for awhile.
Jo: I agree with the majority typing of ESTP, though she seems a lot like a feeler at times (but ESFP doesn't suit her well). She fits the idea of ENTP well imo but just doesn't have many Intuitive traits. She's not really a "theory" person, she loves DOING things, right now, if that's what she wants.
Meg: my favorite, xSFJ. She enjoys parties and people usually find her unassuming nature charming but doesn't particularly seem people-oriented to me so I'll go with ISFJ. She almost seems even shy at times, but that may just be because she's a poor girl daunted by the splendor of the rich people she's friends with. She's the sensible Team Mom character, adores beauty almost as much as Amy and likes romance, acting, and her "burden" in life has been trying not to be vain.
Amy: ESFP or ENFJ. Aesthetic artist, very charismatic, likes pleasing people and is good at it. She and Jo are rivals at times but I think they're rather alike. When she grows up she's becomes more assertive and witty and starts letting go of her selfish tendencies.
Beth: INFJ stereotype. Could be the ISFJ she's nearly always typed as, but she seems more idealistic and just fits the "martyr/savior" type better imo. either way, she screams so much Fe.
Laurie: ESFP. More passionate and easily offended than Jo. He lives in the moment and enjoys parties, books, fine art, new sights, etc. He's extremely charismatic and good at "wheedling" back into people's good graces.
Marmie: Flawless ENFJ.
John Brooke: INFP.
Bhaer: ENTP
If anyone wants to even attempt typing their kids, be my guest! All I know is Daisy = ISFJ, Josy = ESFP.
