I would say a water sign as my first guess. Pisces, Scorpio, or Cancer but I would be very interested to know what star signs INFJs are and (if they know it) what Ascendant and or moon sign they are. I'm a Virgo with an Aries asc.

I think an INFJ is most likely to be associated with Watery signs with Strong Moon influence and the most likely Zodiac sign is Pisces.
I will explain why
Pisces is the natural 12th house of zodiacs, 12th house is the house of Spirituality, Enlightenment and also the house of Detachment(Self-Less). Pisces is a sign associated with Empathy, Compassion, Intuition, Spiritual and being alone.
Other watery signs are
Cancer - Ruled by Moon, the crabs are emotional, being the 4th house Home environment, more about self.
Scorpios - Ruled by mars, and known for their deep mysterious nature, and might have an aggressive outlook, which does not suit INFJ.

I think the sign most similar sign is Pisces, but mingled with some aspects of Scorpio, Virgo and fire.

So my zodiac signs are:
Aries - Sun Sign (fire)
Pisces - Moon Sign (water)
Capricorn - Rising Sign (earth)
I feel like Pisces would be a good fit for any INFJ, just based on the characteristics.

I'm an INFJ, and I'm a Libra sun, Aries moon, Scorpio rising, and my Chinese Zodiac is a Fire Rabbit. Seriously, I embody all of those things to an astonishing degree. My "profile" and personality descriptions are almost always on point for these.

I'm a Gemini sun (6th house) conjunct mercury (rx.), Leo moon (8th house) conjunct ceres, Capricorn rising conjunct neptune (rx.) and the ruler of my rising sign is in Pisces (opposite midheaven).
I really don't think astrology and MBTI can relate so much... I have met two cancers who are INTP so I don't t think there's an exact correlation to determine the MBTI based on your natal chart. But I think water signs can have more xxFx than xxTx in MBTI results. That's my guess.

I'm a Virgo, but I don't believe in astrology. It's good if you get happiness from it but I can't see it as anything other than a way to scam people who relate to basic human characteristics and need moral support in their endeavors. But you can believe it if you want, it's the human condition to believe in something greater than themselves and others.
